  1. Great to hear and thanks for the reply, Thanks @trurl!
  2. Before I get raked over the coals for this question let me explain the need and plan. I never ran an unRaid box with no Parity do I don't even know if it's possible. I just upgrade 3 drives in my main box which allowed me to remove 3 - 2 TB drives. I have a small Lenovo Server box and my plans are to crank it up for the sole purpose of running Unifi Video Docker and hopefully Unifi Protect if Ubiquiti eventually releases a port. This will be for a residential Video setup and if I were to lose a data disk, a quick wipe and re-setup wouldn't be that big of a deal. FWIW the Unifi NVR's and gen 2 Cloud Keys themselves don't have any protection. So to make a long post short, can I pass up using my third disk for parity and have a 6 TB share without unRaid or Fix Common Problems screaming at me daily?
  3. I use the Dynamic Black theme and with the new UI I needed a darker banner. With the Lime-Tach banner off it was white. I made a few rectangles in Figma for anyone to use. I did these very quickly and didn't go around grabbing colors with a dropper. Feel free to change them to your needs. They are currently 1000x100 but I believe any size solid color PNG would work as it appears to be responsive. The Figma Link is below if you want the SVG file to change the color. . https://www.figma.com/file/d4cfMpc8CaHzznZF4oYTn0eZ/Untitled The darkest one works the best as is.
  4. Thought everyone used it. A whole lot easier than cranking up terminal to telnet or ssh. https://lime-technology.com/forums/topic/56382-plugin-ca-config-editor/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks for the help. I was reading about the masquerade feature after I played around with the ports. I will try that. I do have static IP’s which are assigned to sub domains so I will add it in. I used the config file editor plugin to edit the files. Which seems to work great and the changes seem to hold. I went back and checked with TextWrangler to make sure. I’ll post my findings or resolutions for anyone in the future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. So after researching through the readme I went in my router and opened port range 60000-65534 and pointed that to my server. I then added the following to the proftpd.conf file: PassivePorts 60000 65534 Still have successful LAN and no WAN access. Does that line of text go anywhere special in the conf file. I also can't add anything in the Edit .conf file section of the plugin settings page. With the plugin stopped and/or started. Should I be able to?
  7. Sorry if this a redundant question, I skimmed through the thread and searched a bit but couldn't find a similar issue with a resolution. I have been having this plugin installed but I am having a slight issue. I currently have ProFTPd-2018.02.05.1 running and I am on OS 6.5.1. I have created a user and placed "ftpuser" in the description. (minus the quotes). I also opened up port 21 in my router for testing purposes. Will change ports once this is working. I can connect fine when I am on my LAN via 192.168.x.x, but have never been successful via WAN. I sometimes get the username and password dialog box but after hitting enter I get nothing. I have tried the Transmit iOS app and various other browsers ftp clients with no luck. The transmit app works fine on LAN. I feel there is one small piece of the puzzle I am missing. Thanks in advanced.
  8. My three instances are working fine from ip:8080, ip:8081, and ip:8082. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I also see you mentioned a music file in your question. Since we as a family moved over to iTunes Match and a family Apple Music subscription, a lot of headaches disappeared. Now I only have to keep track of movies and Tv shows. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Yeah that's a little different than my environment's setup. I have a Mac mini on living room tv that is the iTunes boss and always on. All files are imported/maintained from that machine. The library is then shared and I also have Plex pointed to my iTunes Media folders. Each bedroom either has an Apple TV 2/3 which can see the library or an Apple TV 4 which can see library or run Plex App. When I ran multiple iTunes libraries and/or multiple people using same library, it would corrupt the iTunes temp files and make it freak out and render it a useless library file. Again only my experience. Take it for what it's worth. I had used Ant'a iTunes mount script for years until this app and margarita came out with auto mounting. OSX Sierra through a wrench in my system with the new mounting protocols. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Not sure if my situation was the same but my mac would sometimes mount my shares with my array name /unRaid/Libraries/iTunes/........ And sometimes with the array IP Depending what app or script mounted first. But in both instances iTunes picked up on the path change. I'm thinking it doesn't matter as long as it the same .itl library file being grabbed by iTunes, iTunes figures it out. I have noticed this and went do a "get info" on a few files on each mount scenario and iTunes actually changed the file path name depending on the mount scenario. Again, not sure if this is the same thing you're seeing, this is what happens in my setup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Can someone tell me why do I get this email now daily. This post may not belong here but it has CA in the path. Thought I would start here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Hi rmeaux, Do you get any warnings when running calculate (especially on the unRaid/Videos folder) ? Is unBALANCE the only app/plugin writing to disks ? Maybe you have couchpotato, mover, nzbget, etc running in the background ? Other than that, maybe a double check on the health of the source disk ? Well the only errors it had after calculate was a few folders didn't have the user as drwxr..... but it was not the Videos folder. Ran new permissions again. No plugins or dockers running. All shares Were unmounted on clients and my main iTunes app is closed. I ended up manually moving the files and folders from disk2 to disk3. I did find after I moved the files and went back to start deleting the source files i had a few files that had a "~" in the file name and it was kicking back an unable to delete error due to filenames length too long. I removed the tilde and was able to delete it. I wish I would have ran unbalance again to see if it would have performed after the filenames change before deleting them. Is a tilde something that would have suspended move? Also, is there a way to balance the array after I get everything to XFS? I know this was asked before somewhere but I can't find it. I only get search results back on unbalance topics. Having disk color coded red and orange bothers me. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Well I finally had room to perform some data moves. But I keep getting this error kick out. I have ran New Permissions a few times also. Can someone shed some light on what I can try or what the problem could be. It is preventing me from completely emptying a drive. 15. If I click on the disk's label (sdd) on the PreClear plug page, I get this info attached:
  16. Tried all sorts of cabling scenarios. Tried new power and SATA cable and new SATA port. Tried swapping with known working power and SATA. I placed a bare 500GB laptop drive on Parity's original power and SATA and it came up as it should under "unassigned". I do notice now with the Parity drive plugged in and my head inside the case, when I power up, I can hear some platter/head squeaks. I'm going to assume the drive is failing and keep it powered down until my new drive arrives on the 7th. Unless there is anything else I can look into. Why can I see it under the pre clear plugin but not under unassigned?
  17. I swapped parity and disk1 SATA cables earlier but I will replace it totally right now. I'll try a different power wire too and report back in a minute.
  18. This is an older disk screenshot but nothing had changed since.
  19. Diag - Sorry, had it and forgot it. unraid-diagnostics-20161205-1848.zip
  20. On Dec, 1st my server ran it's monthly parity check and emailed me that it had 20 errors. So I ran it again and a few hours later it returned no errors. I went about my day. I log on to the GUI today and I see the orange triangle saying array is unprotected and noticed my Parity disk is missing. When I stop the array it is not an unassigned disk. I tried a different SATA and power cable. No luck. I can't pull its SMART either. The weird part is, a disk with it's serial number shows up in the pre clear plugin page. I attached an image below. To make things even stranger to me, it reports a size of 4.14 GB for a 2TB drive. Is this normal? Can I hit the pre clear button and see if things right itself. I logged in via terminal and ran the df and lsblk commands and don't see a drive with 'sdd' as it's label. I just ordered a new 4TB disk for my parity replacement but it won't be here until Wednesday. I would like to protect my array somewhat until it arrives. unRaid - 6.2.4 (going update sig) Thanks in advance.
  21. No, 2 are plain instances of vanilla minecraft. Nothing added or taken away. After hitting start on each they go green play button on the docker icon for about 10 seconds then go red stop button. I'll grab and compare the logs of each when I get home and post them. 22. Can someone shed some light on how to maybe correct this. It is happening to all my instances of McMyAdmin. 24. Upgrade Spigot to latest Minecraft Build (The way I did it for 1.10.2) FYI for users of this Docker I though i would share the way I upgraded one of my McMyAdmin Dockers to Spigot 1.10.2. It may be the long way around or overkill but it worked. There is very little info out there to do this. Even on Spigot and McMyAdmin forums. Maybe a McMyAdmin 3 (Amp) Docker will solve this. But I think Amp is like docker. Not sure, never looked into it. May be redundant to run a framework in a framework. As discussed earlier, McMyAdmin 2 will only self build Vanilla minecraft, no forks. Also, I am not sure how to, or if it is possible to run the BuildTools.jar directly in the unRaid environment. So I did the following to bypass this. BACKUP WOLRD(S)/NETHER/THE END FOLDERS Setup Spigot as if I was going to run the server on my Mac. - Made a Spigot directory on mac - downloaded and ran Buildtools.jar - started serve on mac - accepted EULA.txt file - joined server via Minecraft client in case any files needed to be built. (not sure if needed) - logged off server - stopped server On unRaid - stopped particular McMyAdmin docker running Spigot - navigated to minecraft folder in the AppData/McMyAdmin folder (or whatever you named it) - copied/merged/replaced files and folders which are highlighted in the attached screenshot - renamed file spigot_x.xx.x to spigot.jar as that is what is required. I examined each file and folder minecraft created and uses and I am not sure if I copied too much, too little or just the right ones but it worked great. This allowed me to go from 1.9.2 to 1.10.2. In the future Microsoft/Mojang/Spigot may change file/folder tree architecture which may break this method. Proceed at your own risk and make good backups before attempting.
  25. @speeding_ant I have an unrelated/related situation I need your input on. As you know I have used the script forever and switched to Sierra and Margarita mounting. I have 2 shares I mount on all devices, "Libraries" and "unRaid". Since I had that stale mount issue we discussed earlier, my "Libraries" share has been double/duplicate mounting. It was also that share that was stale. Things I have done and checked: - deleted all script files and folders - used AppCleaner to remove Margarita and reinstalled (all files, folders, and nz.co.pixeleyes files) - I am only exporting SMB I do not think it is Margarita doing it, I just need some direction on where I can look to see what is mounting it. It's almost like "Finder/Connect To Server" is remembering to do it itself. I have attached screenshots of mounts and Margarita's container folder you directed me to last time. Thanks ahead, any input greatly appreciated.
