Hello everyone, I am planning to migrate my current Unraid hardware setup to a new system. Since I am still relatively inexperienced, I am looking for support here and would like to clarify some points in advance. Both setups are based on mini-PCs. In the current system, I have both the cache (pool) and array disks connected via USB, although I am aware that this is not recommended. All my Docker containers and the virtual machine are stored on the cache. The Backup/Restore Appdata Plugin also saves everything to the array. Only some shares and photos are stored on the array. The new setup will operate exclusively with SATA and M.2 connected hard drives. Is a cache (pool) absolutely necessary? Do I need a parity disk? Wouldn’t it be simpler to operate both SSDs as an array without parity? The backups are automatically transferred to another NAS and an external hard drive anyway. Objectives and questions: How can I achieve my goal in the easiest and fastest way? Was muss ich tun, um sämtliche Systemeinstellungen, meine Docker-Container, Plugins sowie die virtuelle Maschine zu übernehmen, ohne diese neu einrichten zu müssen?
