  1. Mine has been running okay for the last couple of weeks, except for once when the web GUI stopped responding. Reboot from console restarted gracefully.
  2. My server is crashing now daily. I've enabled syslog mirroring, but no crash dumps are logged there, and everyday it's stopping in a different place. I'm at a loss as to where to go from here. The NIC still responds to Ping, but SSH doesn't, and the WebGUI is non-responsive, too. Help! nas-diagnostics-20241209-1309.zip
  3. @PoppaJohn I'm with you on this journey. I'm in pretty much an identical situation. 2012 motherboard in my unraid server, now needs replacing. Trying to find one also that can run my LSI SAS cards, a slot for a GPU for Plex transcodes, something for some cache disks (I'll probably upgrade them from the current SSDs to M.2s). Just like you need! Are you any closer to pulling the trigger on something?
  4. Thanks… will try there.
  5. Hardware tone mapping isn’t working for me - Plex drops back to CPU transcoding. GTX-1650, Unraid 6.9.2 pms official docker - on the latest branch latest production nvidia-driver - 470.63.1 hardware transcoding working fine Do I have to use the linuxserver.io container? Looks like other people have HDR tonemapping working with the official docker. J
  6. I hear your pain. I installed my first Protect setup last month, and it’s been good. I like the UI and the iOS app. I like that it has a battery for graceful shutdowns and that the Unifi Network controller is built-in. It’s fast to connect to from remote. Downside is no storage redundancy, and I couldn’t get it to power over USB (tip, just buy the correct Ubiquiti POE injector, it’s cheaper than a QC USB charger, anyway). It’s not that expensive, considering maintenance should be much easier (in fact, it can keep itself completely to date automatically, unlike the Network controller). UBNT have a single wireless camera model, but it’s for indoor use only.
  7. Mine also woke me up last night with the same failure. Is it just a coincidence they failed at the same time, or did the same happen to others? TBH, I think I’ll move to Protect on the CK-Gen2+, Ubiquiti seems to actually be putting some effort into that.
  8. For me, a fresh install on :beta was showing web UI version 3.10.0-beta3 but Unifi Controller v3.9.12. Cameras upgraded to firmware 4.8.40. I in-place switched to :testing, and now both the Web UI and Controller versions showing 3.10.1.
  9. I switched from :latest to :beta and it stuck on Upgrading in the WebUI. /var/lib/unifi-video/logs/mongod.log says: 2019-02-16T13:04:35.783+1030 I CONTROL [initandlisten] options: { config: "/usr/lib/unifi-video/conf/mongodv3.0+.conf", net: { bindIp: "127.0.0.1", http: { enabled: false }, port: 7441 }, operationProfiling: { mode: "off", slowOpThresholdMs: 500 }, storage: { dbPath: "/usr/lib/unifi-video/data/db", engine: "mmapv1", journal: { enabled: true }, mmapv1: { preallocDataFiles: true, smallFiles: true }, syncPeriodSecs: 60.0 }, systemLog: { destination: "file", logAppend: true, path: "logs/mongod.log" } } 2019-02-16T13:04:35.802+1030 I STORAGE [initandlisten] exception in initAndListen: 28662 Cannot start server. Detected data files in /usr/lib/unifi-video/data/db created by the 'wiredTiger' storage engine, but the specified storage engine was 'mmapv1'., terminating My install isn't critical, so I might try a fresh install on the :beta branch.
  10. OK, I’ll do that, and report back.
  11. Hmm, the docker updated but I still have 3.9.12. There are no in-app updates available, either.
  12. Looks like 3.10.1 has been approved for general release: https://community.ubnt.com/t5/UniFi-Video-Blog/UniFi-Video-3-10-1-Full-Release/ba-p/2674717 Any chance you could update the docker? Thanks, James
  13. Oh, good idea. Next time there's an update I'll try and report back! Cheers, James
  14. I'm currently on 6.2, but I think I've had it for as long as I can remember being on 6.x J
  15. Hi, Just a quick one - whenever I update my containers, I don't see progress in the GUI window until it's complete. Same on both Chrome/Mac and Chrome/Windows, and my friend's server doesn't have that problem (he's using Chrome/Windows). Anyone else have the same issue? Where should I start looking to troubleshoot? Thanks, James
  16. Did it retain your Insight history? If not I wonder if it's possible to rollback the docker image to the previous one, and make a backup there. J
