Parity Check went from Hours remaining to Days. this is my first parity check since the initial one after I restore all off my data from my previous issues with the hard drives. going offline due to a bad power cable. Parity check started with 12 hours estimate which is normal and now 7 hours later is showing 12 day remaining.

Issue resolved after a new Docker.img was created.

Still getting Sqlite3: Sleeping for 200ms to retry busy DB under safemode. PLex was idle only scanning movies and detecting credit no transcoding
-
After a few hours of use in Safe mode. Everything seems to be running fine. Im assuming this means that some of the plugins may be causing an issue. I believe I have a lot of them install some which I probably dont use any more. Any suggestion on some that I should remove or keep? Also worried about the flash drive going bad since it wasnt being detected at boot.

Im booted into safe mode now but it took me a few tries at one point it didnt detect the USB boot drive. now that Im in safe mode the UI goes unresponsive when resizing the window to full screen or vice versa. i want to say that plex has been fine since optimizing the database but the unraid UI is still slow
-
Will try when I get home from work but did notice that the unraid UI starts acting up when the Plex container is in that sleeping mode. but doesnt happen as long as something is being played in plex.
-
I have repaired my plex database using DBRepair.sh but plex continues to get stug updating metadata showing this in the log Sqlite3: Sleeping for 200ms to retry busy DB

Hello, I have recently been noticing lag on the unraid UI and containers like Plex freezing and needing to be restarted. CPU usage was getting as high as 90+ and wasnt even transcoding, disabled folder cache plugin which seemed to help with the CPU usage but UI is still freezing or lagging to the point where I get 500 Internal Server Error - nginx error. and when plex is inaccessible the log shows Sqlite3: Sleeping for 200ms to retry busy DB.

Finally restored all my drives and data, thank you very much

Seems to have been one of the drives, went back to normal once i removed it.

i have the new LSI card installed and I'm trying to add my disks again but the GUI is so laggy. after i get the login: prompt at the server it take about 5 minutes to get to the GUI login screen. Then to start the array in maintenance mode it take another 5 minutes and to stop the array it take about 5 minutes.
-
just noticed that the Unassigned Devices plugin has the option but what would the command be to run it manually?
-
But the server will require to be in maintenance mode right? and when a drive gets disabled there no way to re-enable besides rebuilding the drive?
-
is there a way to check a disk for error while its not part of the array?
-
Sorry here it is.

i tried adding a disk with a new config but the disk said it was unmountable /unknown file system, but before hand i was able to mount the disk and view its contents.
Is there a way to run a filesystem check on a disk that isnt mounted, meaning prior to mounting so that I dont run into these error when trying to add a disk and run a parity sync after the new config?
Does this mean this Parity sync will be no good?
-
Parity Sync is about to complete with no errors. as far as adding back the other disks, will I need to create a new config again? or add a new blank disk and start transferring data to the array?
-
Ok I just put in the new card hooked it all up and started up the server checked, repair the filesystem for each drive and made a new config. Parity is running but it says its going to take 73 days. in the process of writing this one of the disks is showing errors during the parity sync. Am I missing something? how do I fix the error is the drives are good? or are they bad?

What price range should I be looking at?
does this work?

I dont have another LSI HBA but Im ready buy one. Which do you recommend? wierd that drive is connected to the same power cable as 2 other drive after it and to the same data cable/card as 3 other drives.
-
Here it is. I created a new config eliminating the 3 drives that were getting disabled and they aren't currently connected to the server. the Parity sync is currently at 57% but just noticed that disk 9 is showing errors. I guess I just made my situation worse.
-
So Im now at 3 disks being disabled and I believe its going to be a bad HBA card. I didnt have any issues prior to upgrading to Unraid 6.12.4, could this be just a coincidence? since my parity drive was the first to be affected i know i just cant rebuild the drives, how should I proceed once I have a replacement card and what card do you recommend?
Parity sync is finally running with no errors and should be done in about 15 hours which is normal for me. was wondering how to recover the data on the disabled drives. can i plug them into another pc to pull the data, can it be done in windows or does it need to be on a linux machine or can unraid do that?
-
it just completed but it says it was successful but like I said two drives are currently unmounted.

Looks like it was bazarr as when I stop it it finally started moving again, but does mean that i have it misconfigured or is that normal?
