  1. When you tick "Parity is correct" and start the array, it automatically initiates a parity check. There were some early corrections made, but none after that. I think a 2 port jmicron controller card is causing issues, it randomly drops out even when the drive is just idling (no reading or writing) and causes a red balled drive. The drive is only marked with a red red ball after a reboot though. It stays green and the read/write IO count goes astronomically high and just keeps rising until the reboot. I've replaced the card and will see if the problem continues to occur.
  2. My cards arrived today well packed and within a reasonable time frame to Australia. Haven't tested them yet, but I'm sure they'll work fine. Yes, there was no communication after the payment but that's not a problem when there are messages posted on the forum with a history of good outcomes. This was a real bargain, I was lucky to get onto it. Thanks seanant.
  3. Thanks for the info. The "parity is correct" checkbox is the only way I could get it to work. The only downside is having to reassign 24 drives separately which you didn't have to do before with the old method.
  4. Bumping this. Anyone else having trouble getting the trust procedure working on rc6 test 2? I'm getting the same issue as smegger68.
  5. I bought 4 of these from that seller and they seem to work just fine on Unraid 4.6 with my Seagate LP, WD EARS and Samsung F3 Eco Green 2TB drives. No doubt they won't work for drives over 2TB, but for the price on offer they can afford to be replaced when the time comes!
