So this is a problem I've encountered many times and it's just random: All looks good, but sometimes when I press the VMs tab the GUI becomes unresponsive. I can SSH and login from another computer and it seems to keep working, but on the "background" its actually froze and there's not much to do. I've tried to SSH shutdown or reboot/reboot -f after but it just doesn't go anywhere. Then its just a plug off and plugin again, it works fine (except the parity check that starts). tower-syslog-20250921-1623.zip

I'm getting these error messages on logs, don't know why. I noticed that it only happens when clicking on the Files tab of one single torrent from private tracker that is currently being downloaded. When adding the torrent file I could see all files. torrent has 18 files and I can see them in the download folder, can't open yet since its not finished. Can you help? Hello, I'm using unraid for two years now almost trouble free, always updating to the latest version. I have a simple setup, one 4tB disk for parity, one 500gB, one 1500gB, one 2000gB, ant then two 1tB nvmes for cache, under a 5600G with 32gB ram. recently found a cheap new wd red 4tB disk and wanted to replace with the 500gB. So, for safety purposes, moved the entirity of the 500gB to the other disks with unbalance and followed these steps. Also before replacing the old disk I precleared once the new disk. For my surprise, after the rebuild of the array some data appeared on the new 4tB disk and that was weird. Now I'm trying to get data from the other disks and cache to the new disk, I used unbalance two times and after it is done the data is moved to the new disk (I can see this with the used sizes of each disk and the files within), however after a while it just becomes undone from air ! the data is gone from where it was supposed to be and reappears back in the drives that I moved from ! dont now what to do and what prints or logs to post here, please advise. any help is much appreciated

I actually thought it's a great idea, but yeah 150 is out of reach for the common folk, me included. Sticking to forums, reddit, etc and hope to solve it

I have a dual monitor setup connected to a RX570 that's passed through to the VM, every now and then a completely random, as far as I could detect, weird/"noisy" screen is shown and a simple VM restart or unplugging and plugging the video cable back does the trick, so no major concerns about it. Anyway it might be useful to somebody else, you got any idea as to what is happening? I have not waited a long time, maybe 3minutes, in that time it does not change. It looks like what an old analog tv would show when it cant sync to a channel.

I thought I tried it before posting but maybe not. Anyway it kind of worked, under safe mode it booted as it usually does and after I tried booting a conventional boot and it also worked. I think it might have something to do with the Dynamix S3 Sleep plugin, I have it enabled to turn the machine off at 1AM but the unexpected reboot was before like 12:51PM so I discarded that. However the troubleshooting started after 1AM and I suspect that's when the plugin started turning the system off right after the array start. I have some conditions to turn the machine off automaticaly, maybe that needs some tuning. Anyway thanks a lot, it really freaked me out losing the machine like that

So this is weird and out of nowhere, I was close to the machine and I heard the beeping sound it makes when it turns on, since it was already on this means an unexpected reboot. IDK what happened, no new plugins installed recently, just a docker (mkvtoolnix) but it was idle. My array and cache are encrypted so when the keyfile isn`t around it does not start the array, so I tried that and the machine starts as one would hope, but after inserting the keyfile it just shutsdown again. I can start the array under maintenance mode, without maintenance mode it seems like the array does start however very shortly after the machine powers itself off. Disabled auto vm on and auto docker but that did not do any good. Im using Unraid 6.10.3 Basic, one parity disk, three disks and two pools with nvme. Also machine runs on Ryzen 5600G with 32GB RAM. Got a photo of screen after it initiated the shutdown, maybe that helps? Also the log is attached. edit: I do have pcies override enabled so I can passthrough my dedicated GPU and run win10 on the same machine mirtaotower-diagnostics-20221023-0115.zip

follow up, later that day I decided to try and name the pool something else, after changing it to a five letter word it magically appeared on the unbalance GUI. Now idk if that was a bug, but after it did really solved the problem.

This nvme will stay on the system, so I'd like for it to also be encrypted. So I'm trying to run Unbalance, get some data off the harddrives and onto this new nvme, however it's missing from the Unbalance GUI, idk why. I've reboot the server several times hoping it would turn up, but no luck. The drive missing on Unbalance is the CT1000P1 under the crucialpone pool. So any idea what could I do to make it work?
