  1. Great! Thanks for this, IMO now perfect, ripping solution! As I said earlier, I don't have a dvd player attached to my server, so the only way I can rip my old dvd's is by serving the VIDEO_TS folders to Handbrake. I've got sooo much ripping to do now!
  2. Confirmed! Just in the Summary tab, it went from this: To this: I did a quick encode of a small chapter and it looks and sounds perfect now!
  3. Thanks, I've looked into this. I don't have a dvd-player in my server, so I can't really use the MakeMKV docker for this. I just copied the VIDEO-TS directory that is on the disc from another computer to the Handbrake input folder. Most dvd's I have just convert correctly, but some just end up with the artifacts due to encryption (I guess).
  4. Is the libdvdcss package included in this docker? I tried to convert some dvd's and some of them were encrypted so I've got strange video and audio artifacts in the encoded files.
  5. Great plugin! I've used it a lot now I moved my 7 year old 12bay tower to a 24 bay case and finally had some free slots available to preclear all my old drives that didn't fit in my old case anymore. So I've noticed some little things.... All the e-mail updates specify the device id (sdX), except the e-mail that is sent when a step fails. See example below: Event: PreclearSubject: FAIL! Zeroing the disk failed.Description: FAIL! Zeroing the disk failed.Importance: alertZeroing the disk failed - Aborted Another example: Event: PreclearSubject: FAIL! Post-Read verification failed.Description: FAIL! Post-Read verification failed.Importance: alertPost-Read verification failed - Aborted I would like to see which drive fails, especially when preclearing multiple drives at once. Another issue I had is with the drive sizes. The plugin displays a 1,5TB drive as a 2TB drive. See the attached screenshot of my main page and the preclear page.
  6. I experienced the same error in my syslog after a server reboot. It was driving me nuts. Then I found out that I had some browser tabs open on a different computer showing the unRAID main page and the preclear disk page from before the reboot. When I closed these tabs, the errors stopped appearing in my log.
  7. I really would like this feature. Or the ability to pause or stop the mover (after finishing the active filetransfer) so that it can continue at a later time.
  8. I replaced the very noisy fans of my 2 Chieftec SST-2131SAS 3-in-2 bays with Nexus 80mm Real Silent case fans. Cost about 5 euro's a piece, so very cheap and very very quiet!
  9. Almost all my drives came from external WD cases like these... Very easy to open, and the drives are standard EADS. (I only had the 1TB and 1.5TB versions. I guess the 2TB are EARS drives...
  10. I have these in my case: http://www.zalman.com/ENG/product/Product_Read.asp?idx=383 Very, very quiet, two of them came with my case... (http://www.zalman.com/ENG/product/Product_Read.asp?idx=367)
  11. The SAS-SATA cables are not that heavy, and the drive cages they're connected with are at the top of my case, so they don't generate downwards or sideways pressure to the card...
  12. I have the card installed without a bracket... The PCI-e port holds the card real tight...
