  1. I never noticed that Disk 15 was unmountable. Another strange thing is that in the Shares Compute sections is shows DIsk 15 size as 65.7GB with 9.86 TB free. Disk15: Size 65.7GB Free 9.86 TB
  2. I noticed that my mover wasn't running today and found out that my movie (Blu-Ray) share was out of space. So i shut down the server added a new drive (Disk23) that was previous pre-cleared, rebooted, formatted and then ran mover. During the mover running i was checking out the shares and ran the compute on the Blu-Ray share. I noticed something off and found out the Disk 15 was missing all of the files from before and mover was writing the new cache files to it. So i immediately shut down the server and rebooted. Still missing about 200 files from Disk 15. Not sure if I'm screwed or not? I wish i would have noticed before running the mover manually. Here are my diags. Thanks tower-diagnostics-20220217-0854.zip
  3. Updated to 6.8.2 and confirmed working, Thanks.
  4. Just tried 6.8 and it still is not working on Kodi. I also tried to disable config setting on Settings/Global Share Settings called "Tunable (support hard links)". The default is Yes, but with certain very old media and DVD players which access shares via NFS, you may need to set this to No.
  5. Has anyone tried Unraid OS version 6.7.1-rc2 to see if it's fixed?
  6. I also noticed this issue. Windows Kodi, Xbox Kodi, and a Vero 4K+.
  7. Q) I want to use one of the older scripts(Joe L. or bjp999) in conjunction with notifications. Is that possible? A) Yes. I've made some adjustments on both scripts so they become compatible with unRAID notifications; Joe L. version can be found here and bjp999 can be found here. When i try to install the Joe L script from that link it get this error. plugin: installing: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gfjardim/unRAID-plugins/master/source/packages/preclear_disk_15b.sh plugin: downloading https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gfjardim/unRAID-plugins/master/source/packages/preclear_disk_15b.sh plugin: downloading: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gfjardim/unRAID-plugins/master/source/packages/preclear_disk_15b.sh ... done Warning: simplexml_load_file(): /tmp/plugins/preclear_disk_15b.sh:1: parser error : Start tag expected, '<' not found in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 214 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): #!/bin/bash in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 214 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): ^ in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 214 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): /tmp/plugins/preclear_disk_15b.sh:1: parser error : Start tag expected, '<' not found in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 214 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): #!/bin/bash in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 214 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): ^ in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 214 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): /tmp/plugins/preclear_disk_15b.sh:1: parser error : Start tag expected, '<' not found in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 214 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): #!/bin/bash in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 214 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): ^ in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 214 plugin: xml parse error
  8. I ended up stopping the script. I will also try and use the Joe L script. It there any way to use the modified script to work with GUI or does it need to be run manually through ssh and screen? I tried to copy the sh file to the preclear.disk folder but it doesn't show up in tools. Any help would be appreciated. thanks
  9. Currently clearing a 8TB Red. Everything was fine until the Post-Read phase which seems to have locked up and not updated the percent or time elapsed. It should have finished the script at this point. I did notice the reads on the drive seem to be going up from the main page. Should I cancel the script or let it run a little longer? ############################################################################################################################ # # # unRAID Server Preclear of disk 5236473633565059 # # Cycle 1 of 1, partition start on sector 64. # # # # # # Step 1 of 5 - Pre-read verification: [15:44:19 @ 141 MB/s] SUCCESS # # Step 2 of 5 - Zeroing the disk: [15:27:21 @ 143 MB/s] SUCCESS # # Step 3 of 5 - Writing unRAID's Preclear signature: SUCCESS # # Step 4 of 5 - Verifying unRAID's Preclear signature: SUCCESS # # Step 5 of 5 - Post-Read in progress: (37% Done) # # # # # # # # # # # # ** Time elapsed: 4:56:26 | Current speed: 171 MB/s | Average speed: 170 MB/s # # # ############################################################################################################################ # Cycle elapsed time: 36:08:07 | Total elapsed time: 36:08:07 # ############################################################################################################################

  11. I have the regular ATX Extreme 4 (non-m) version. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293 I did get the M1015's flashed to IT mode but i did have try a few different motherboards before being successful. This board pulls about 60 watts at idle with 5-80mm fans. Proc: Celeron G1610. ($35 at MicroCenter can't beat it.) Only ran into 1 problem. The onboard Sata connectors (Sata 3's) didn't play nice with 2 of my hard drives (SAMSUNG_HD203WI's) Had to move them to a different port) After that everything was fine. Maybe a BIOS update?
  12. Just got done setting up a ASRock Z77 Extreme4 . 2-3.0 slots at 8x each. Everything is good so far.
  13. Sorry, I have not pulled the trigger yet. Im still researching. Just going off specs. I was looking for the cheapest board that had 2 -(PCI-e 8x) and 8 onboard sata connections. I have a 24-bay supermicro case with an old Xeon processor and Supermicro board. It pulls 160 watts at idle so i'm in the process of upgrading. Another option is GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3. PCI-e 2.0 16x and 8x with 8 onboard sata. $90 after rebate at the egg.
