Thanks for this great tool. I have a question about the dashboard view. In the “Most Watched” view, it seems that if you pause a movie or TV show while watching it and then resume it, it shows up as having been watched three times instead of once. But in reality, only one person actually watched that episode. Is there any way to work around this? I hope you understand what I mean?

Hello everyone, After a reboot, the entire cache is empty again. Is there a command that can be executed to cache all directories once? So that the hard disks are not gradually awakened again and again.

Thank you for your answer. But I wouldn't want to go down that route, then I might have the same problem again with the next update. Maybe the stick is really broken. I can only see the possibility of either using the new stick via the known methods using the update in Webgui or I need a new stick. What is important for me here is how the license will continue.

ok thanks for the answer. What are my options now? 1. I plug the USB stick into another port and hope that unraid boots. If it boots, I will try the update again and at best it will update properly. 2. unraid does not boot from the stick at all, then I could format the stick and import the backup that I pulled before the 1st update attempt. 3. what is most likely, the USB stick has a defect and I need a new USB stick, I have already ordered 2 new sticks. An Intenso Alu Line 8 GB USB 2.0 and a Verbatim Store ‘n’ Go V3 USB stick, USB 3.2 Gen1, 16 GB. I could then install one of these sticks with the backup. But what about the license? Thanks for the info. This is the same USB port I have been using for the last few years. But I will try a different port. At the moment the server is still accessible and all my applications are still running. Can I unplug the USB stick while the server is running and plug it back in? Should it then reappear in the best case?

The license could be transferred and so far everything was fine and everything worked again. Hello, I have been running my server for 10 years now and back then I used a 1 GB USb stick. It was always sufficient, but now I wanted to do an update and it tells me I have too little space. Over the years a lot has accumulated there. But I'm not sure what I can and can't delete. The following folders are on my flash drive config custom EFI logs but empty previous syslinux unmenu and a lot of files in the root, the largest of which are bzfirmware and bzroot. Could I empty previous as this is the largest folder?

i use the official emby docker. my appdata directory is on my cache disk. All my directories there have nobody/users permission only the EmbyServer folder has daemon/daemon permission can I just rewrite the permission or does that have no effect?

Hello, I still have 2 free pcie 3.0 x1 slots on my mainboard and I have a 9207-8i controller here. could I install it there to install 4 more hard drives? Or should you just buy an x1 controller with 4 sata3 slots? I still have the 9207 lying around and before I buy something new I would of course like to use it. Would the performance be sufficient for normal operation?

it happens with all files. for series, the load is back to 0% more quickly than for films that are available as avc remux. my films are usually all avc remux

Here are 2 more log files when I play a film with another android box and the native emby client. The film starts and runs flawlessly so far. But if I want to jump chapters or jump forward a few minutes, the film freezes for 1-2 minutes before continuing and the CPU is quite busy. I also only have an i5 10400 with the integrated gpu intel uhd 630. Maybe you can improve something based on the logs. Hello, thank you for your detailed answer. I use an nvidia shield as a client, which should be able to handle all formats that I use. I also see direct play being used on the dashboard. So it can't actually be due to transcoding due to audio or video format. What I could imagine would be the transcoding due to high bitrate. The server is remote. What surprises me, however, is that I have a wireguard vpn server running on the unraid server. If I connect the nvidia shield to the server via wireguard beforehand and then say in emby under kodi it should use native paths, then everything works perfectly. Is it possible that emby behaves differently under http than when I access it via smb?

Hello, I have a question about the emby docker and I hope that someone here can help me. Emby is running fine so far. The only thing I don't quite understand is when I start a movie, whether with the native Emby client or with the emby addon under kodi, I see the CPU load on my unraid server (latest version of the unraid, i510400 and 32 GB RAM). rises to about 80%. This lasts for about 3-4 minutes and then the cpu load drops to 2%. Also, while the CPU load is high, I cannot skip or fast-forward chapters in the movie. Hello, I have a new motherboard with an Intel 10400. Unraid is the latest version. When I boot unraid, I see on the dashboard that the cpu is clocked at 2.9 GHz. How do I get full clock from the cpu? I brought one of the cores to 100% with this command cat /dev/urandom > /dev/null, but the clock frequency remains at 2900. Do I have to do this for all cores so that the turbo starts? And if so, how can I do this for all cores? The only thing I found in the bios is: Boot Performance Mode, I switched it from auto to Turbo Performacne and then the Bios shows me 4000 MHz instead of 2900, but in unraid it still stays at 2900? Does anyone have an idea? Thanks and regards

Hi there, I have installed the jdownloader and have the problem that as soon as I download something with it, my RAM is full within 5 minutes. I have 12 GB RAM in my server and before I start the download there are almost 10 GB free and after 5 minutes everything is full. I set the extra parameter --memory = 2G for the docker, but it doesn't seem to do anything After the download, the memory remains full and will not be released again. Does anyone have a tip
