Hi, could anyone give me a hint. I use for xbmc a system called openelec. It´s a linux system. I use the actually nighlies with frodo, but since the last 3 versions the mount from os level did not work. The last version use linux kernel 3.6.0 and if i want to use a smb share with these line: mount -t cifs //192.168.xxx.xx/server /storage/server -o username=xxxxxxxx,password=xxxxxxxxx i become an error with invald argument. If i switch back to an older version with earlier kernel all work fine. I use unraid 4.7 Any help ? Greets Eisi

@Helmonder Thanks for your fast answer. One Question again, at the moment i work with itunes on my windows pc. When i first time connect with my android handy to itunes, on my handy comes a pin with 4 numbers. OK this is the pairing code. In Itunes comes as device name "remote for itunes". Is this the name of my android handy, because the remote software is called remote for itunes and i could not change this name or what name i must enter there ? I have a bluetooth name in my handy but i don´t know where there is a other name. Greets Eisi

Hi, i hope you understand my bad english First let me say i´m not on unraid 5 beacuse i´m waiting for the Final Version, but i hope it comes fast beacuse i want to use your itunes plugin. It´s something i´m waiting for. My situation is the following and i want to prepared if i start with this plugin. I have one unraid server and two airplay adapter and i want to navigate with 2 android handy through my itunes library with itunes remote. Is this doable ? forked-daapd can be paired with Apple's Remote application for iPod/iPhone; this is how the pairing process works: - start forked-daapd - start Remote, go to Choose Library, Add Library - prepare a text file with a filename ending with .remote; the filename doesn't matter, only the .remote ending does. This file must contain two lines: the first line is the name of your iPod/iPhone, the second is the 4-digit pairing code displayed by Remote. If your iPod/iPhone is named "Foobar" and Remote gives you the pairing code 5387, the file content will be: Foobar 5387 - move this file somewhere in your library what means somewhere in my library ? The same path i say in webgui for the db file or the path where my mp3 lie ? Where could i set the airplay output ? If there is no chance to control one Database with 2 Airplay Adapter and from 2 Handys, could i make 2 Database with the same content and control every database from one handy ? Hi, i have a prolem with the SAS3082E-R Controller. I switch from Mainboard sata ports to the controller ports. I have a Biostar A760g M2+ Mainboard. Unraid is 4.7. All my 8 hdd´s was found from the controller. After booting unraid i saw all my 8 hdd´s. After i have allocate my hdd´s to the device ports in unraid, unraid said wrong disk configuration and i could not start the raid. All hdd´s have a red point. Hi, sorry for this question but in first post stand "3TB Drive Support with this card: Will only offer 2.2TB out of 3TB (UPDATE: 5.0Beta7 added 3TB Drive support)". Could this card full work with 3tb hdd since 5.0beta7 ? Greets Eisi

@GFOviedo sorry for late answer. I did´nt buy a new board at the moment. First i thought that my biostar A760M2+ was out of order. I have the same problem like you with network. But i find a solution for my problem. When i insert the network cable after booting all works fine. If i boot with network cable insert i have no net. So i have a little bit mor time to search for a new board. Greets Eisi

@Influencer Thx for the tip, it looks like a board i need, but the board has only sata2 ports, i think only sata3 ports could use 3 TB hdds or could every sata2 port use 3tb hdds not as boot only for data ? Greets Eisi

Hi, because my mainboard get out of order i must buy a new mainboard. When i get in the next days my new mainboard i want to be good prepared. At now i have 8 disk, 1 parrity and 7 data. When i now buy a new mainboard a put the hdd on the sata port. Must the data disks have the same order ? That parrity disk must in slot 1 is ok, but the 7 data disks, must data disk 1 from now to datadisk port 1 in the new mainboard ? Problem is, my mainboard is out of order and i don´t know the datadisk order. Greets Eisi

@prostuff1 Thanks for your hint, it´s a great side. The ASUS M4A78LT-M where my mainboard but i could get it anymore. The other mainboards from your side have all only 4 sata ports onboard, but i need a mainboard with 6 port onboard and 3 tb support. Why 6 ports ? So i could use my ol 6 1,6 tb hdd without to buy an extansion card. Greets Eisi

Hi, sorry for the question but my old motherboard is broken and now i need fast a new mainboard. I now have a Biostar A760G M2+. It´s a great mainboard but now where it goes broken i want to buy a new one which have also 6 sata ports onboard and 3 tb hdd support. Is there any AM2 mainboard with this specification ? so i could use my old cpu. If not is there a recommendation for a full unraid supported low budget mainboard with this features ? Greets Eisi

@BRit could i make a setting in win 7 explorer to change that ? I don´t understand why the explorer access a file. When i enter the dir a second time the disk will not spin up. When i make first time a double klick on a movie dir, the disk spin up and first when the disk is up the explorer entered the dir and shows me the files. Greets Eisi

@Joe L. is there any option to scan all disks in cache ? Now is the situation that when i enter a dir first time the disk spin up and put the content into cache. When i enter this dir next time all is ok from cache. But i have for every movie a dir, and so at 1000 movies it takes a lot time to put all dirs into cache manual. I hope you understand what i mean. @Joe L. Thx for the fast answer. I hope you could say me the right syntax. i have a share called server. If i mount the share i see the folders called: Filme MP3 Bilder if i look per putty on the unraid server i have this structure cd mnt in mnt is disk1 disk2 disk3 disk 4 disk 5 disk 6 and user under every disk i have a dir called server and in this dir are the folders Filme, MP3, Bilder in the user folder i have a dir called server and in this dir are the other dirs Filme. MP3, Bilder when i now included "server" and will excluded /server/MP3 will this work ? or will the -i "server" overwrite the exclusion from -e "/server/mp3/" ? Greets Eisi
