  1. Got a nice popup from Fix Common Problems this morning saying that Call traces were found on my server and it then says to post my diagnostics on the forums for input. So, this is me doing that. storage-diagnostics-20170405-0858.zip
  2. Yep, im more so looking to split it out though so i can have better quality ssd's running my vms/docker containers and regular ssds handling tasks like downloads, etc
  3. I would be very interested in having multiple cache pools. I could offload vms/docker to one and leave the other for everything else which would allow me to have 2 smaller ssd pools rather than needing 1 large ssd pool
  4. I might have missed it but is there a way to set ZoneMinder up to save data to a share rather than appdata?
  5. Im getting a weird issue here an am running out of ideas. I ran my first backup last week and the backup completed successfully however my linuxserver/mariadb container refused to function and nothing that used that container would work either. I ended up having to remove the databases and then move the backed up files back to the appdata folder and then mariadb started functioning normally again. I assumed it was something to do with the backup so i excluded it at that point. Last night the backup ran again and mariadb was not backed up as intended, however the same issue persists where the container wont function and nothing can connect to it. I assume it has something to do with the way this plugin is stopping containers or updating them or something. Any ideas?
  6. Is there any way to leverage this plugin or maybe some other solution to notify you if files that already have checksums are missing? Use case: Im 99% positive i moved all of our baby pictures to the server weeks ago and yet today i cannot find them anywhere. Maybe i accidentally deleted them somehow or some other magic happened. Basically im looking for something that can tell me if something that was there is no longer there anymore.
  7. I was running on an ASRock Pro4-M with 3 SAS2LP-MV8's but kept having disks dropping during parity checks so i picked up 3 Dell H310's and crossflashed them and then put them in a ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3 board and just started my first parity check. If i remember correctly i was getting 50-60 MB/s with the SAS2LP's but with this new setup im getting ~26.5 MB/s Is there anything i should be looking at to correct this or is this what i should be expecting going forward?
  8. I need a new 1155 board that can run 3 Dell H310's and i came across a used Gigabyte G1 Sniper 3 which looks like it checks all of the boxes but im hoping to get a little insight from you all to make sure i wont run into any incompatibilities, etc. Anybody have an opinion on this one? I will be putting an i7-3770 and 32GB of RAM in it.
  9. Since I already have the Pro4-M and I cannot get the 3 H310's to work on it wouldn't i be at risk of the same thing happening here if i go with the Pro4?
  10. Im currently running an ASRock H77 Pro4M with an i7-3770 proc and it has run well for a good amount of time. I purchased 3 Dell H310's to replace my problematic SAS2LP-MV8 cards and for some reason i cannot get all 3 of the H310's to work on the ASRock board at the same time. Ive tried putting them into my desktop and they work fine so that tells me its a mobo issue. So, without having to replace my proc and whatnot can anyone recommend a 1155 board i could just swap with?
  11. Off the top of my head in not sure but can look for it. Would it say something about roms or are there other keywords I should be looking for? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  12. I currently am running 3 SuperMicro SAS2LP-MV8 cards in my machine but am experiencing the issues that other SAS2LP users have so i bought 3 H310's and crossflashed them using the instructions i found in another thread here on the Lime Tech boards. Individually the cards work without any issues but when i use multiple cards then things start to get weird. - If all 3 cards are in it only detects the top and bottom cards - If the top 2 cards are in it only detects the top card - If the bottom 2 cards are in it detects no cards - If 1 and 3 are in it detects both cards. My board is an ASRock Pro4-M and i would have thought is was a slot issue but since the 3 supermicro's work fine im assuming it some sort of other issue but have no idea what it could be. The H310's are all running the LSI9211-8i IT (P20) firmware and since i have a newer board i followed Maglin's steps on how to do it with a UEFI board, i also went with his recommendation in that post to flash the bios as well. Any ideas would be welcome as i am at my wits end here. FYI: Maglins steps are here: https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=12767.msg407834#msg407834
  13. New as in they showed up last week and i installed them.
  14. Ah, ok. I ran the plugin then got pulled away and just now saw it. Will take a look at it. Thanks for the info sir.
  15. I was not aware of any issues but will take a look. Also, when you were mentioning cores you mentioned docker, do I need to exclude specific cores for docker add well? If so, where do I do that?
  16. @NeoDude - Diagnostics are attached, where would i check the cores? @testdasi - the drives are brand new, how often would i want to run trim then? storage-diagnostics-20160807-0935.zip
  17. I just migrated from a 2TB spinning disk to a pair of 500GB Samsung 750 EVO SSD'sfor my cache pool. I have my docker image, 1 vm, appdata and my downloads go there. Ive noticed now that when its under what i assume is heavy load (lots of downloading, extracting, etc) that everything becomes sluggish. Navigating through the unraid gui, playing videos using plex or emby and just everything in general. Once what i assume to be heavy load is done everything returns to normal. With that said that brings me to a couple questions: 1. Is there a way to increase performance here? 2. Is there a way for me to add another drive outside of the array/cache pool where i could just have downloads, etc go so the cache pool isnt garbage? 3. Should i not have all of the items listed above on my cache pool for some reason?
  18. Does anything special need to be done to Pydio to get it to work behind an Apache reverse proxy?
  19. I had my parity drive fail last week so i bought a new 6TB drive to put in for parity. I started a parity sync this morning and just now had a drive possibly fail or throw errors. Im not sure what my best course of action here now is, can someone point me in the right direction as for what to do in this situation? Diagnostics were too big so i attached them to my google drive - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B420zM560KAfYkh0a0VTTXdTSVk/view?usp=sharing If anybody has a better suggestion other than google drive let me know.
  20. Yeah im using 2 SAS2LP's, had space on another controller so moved those drives there and have started a parity sync again. Will see what that does for me
  21. Running into an interesting issue that im hoping i can get some input from your community from. During parity checks or syncs unraid will stop at some point and tell me that disk13 has errors so i follow the normal procedure and do an xfs_repair -v on it and it always comes back clean. In the syslog you can see it also mentions disk5 having errors and when i run a reiserfsck on it it also comes back clean but yet every time i try to do a parity sync or check the same thing happens. I have attached diagnostics below, also, you can view another set of diagnostics for this error on this post here: https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=48844.msg468503#msg468503 storage-diagnostics-20160504-0618.zip
