  1. Here are updated smart tests from my preclear box for both drives 7 and 12 I ran the smartctl -a -A /dev/sdb command ---- if i need to run a different command let me know 7.txt 12.txt
  2. sdo is a new 4tb drive. Drive 12 was on the supermicro card, that card lets me go sata or sas so these are all sata drives. Drive 12 is detected in windows so im going to assume it will show up in the bios on my unraid box as well. But to test that i need to shut down the machine im typing this on to remove it. I will update this afterwards EDIT: Yes, i can see drive 12 in the bios on my unraid box
  3. I appreciate the assistance trurl, kind of at a loss here as well. Attached is the Array operation section and the bottom of the drives listing. I pulled drive 12 out, put it into another unraid box to see if i could view the data on it. That didnt work so i put it back into this machine and it showed up as SDP. I recently pulled it back out of this box and put it into a windows box to see if i could find any data to no avail. It shows up in disk management but i cant assign a letter to it so i can browse. As you can see in that screenshot SDP is no longer connected. One of the drives is on the motherboard and the other is on a SUPERMICRO AOC-SASLP-MV8
  4. I did not have notifications set up but will be having those setup going forward. I looked through the other drives today and didn't see anything that caught my eye. I do have a couple of drives that smart is saying Old Age to but thats about it.
  5. Yes and no on drive 7. I can browse to it and view the shares stored on it but when i attempt to copy the data over the network onto an external drive it hangs.
  6. Would it be possible to do this: create a new config that does not have drive 12 in it. In theory, drive 7 should be "functional" with the new config. Once thats up i can take the array back down and replace drive 7 with a new drive and then rebuild from parity? In that case i would only lose the 2TB that was on drive 12. Also, since drive 12 is now showing up as SDP im feeling like i should run some tests on it to see if it is actually malfunctioning. If it passes those tests should i put it back in my array and assume it was some sort of corruption rather than a drive issue itself?
  7. HEre is an updated syslog, as well as what i could get as a smart report through the command line and an updated dashboard shot. SDP would be the drive that was in Drive 12 syslog_1.zip
  8. It doesnt show anything for disk attributes, when i go to error log i do see this though: scsiModePageOffset: response length too short, resp_len=47 offset=50 bd_len=46 I didn't do anything other than boot it up in the unraid box that i use for pre-clearing. Backups, no...im not sure how one could have a server like this plus 32+TB of backups In the grand scheme of things, is there any possibility of rebuilding any of this data or am i pretty much just losing the 4ish TB of data between these 2?
  9. New problem. I pulled drive 12 out and put it into another linux box to see if i could view any data on it which i couldn't. I put it back into my main unraid box and now it detects it as a new drive rather than the one that was assigned to drive 12
  10. They just happened. Yesterday i did my scheduled parity check and then today i have these issues
  11. Ive got a few issues going on right now that im not sure how to handle. I have 1 disk that has a green ball but is showing errors on the dashboard and when i stop the array it then says that the disk is missing. I also have 1 disk that all of a sudden has a grey triangle next to it. I have 2 spare drives ready to go but have no idea how to actually tackle this one. I have attached a screenshot of the dashboard, syslog and smart data This is for v6 b15 disk7-attributes.zip disk12-attributes_1.zip syslog.zip
  12. I am on b12 right now and i just added a new drive to my array and apparently it added as an xfs drive whereas all the rest of my drives use reiserfs. Is this a normal behavior now and do i need to re-format that drive as reiserfs?
  13. I currently have 2 XBMC devices that i use. 1 of them contains all of my media and is what my wife and I use, the other only contains cartoons/kids movies for my children to use. The last time i used a SQL instance for XBMC (2+ years ago) it wasn't really possible to have different libraries on different machines. Am i able to do that using this container?
  14. I have a /config mapped to my config folder and then /downloads is mapped to a new share i created that is not only using the cache drive. Outside of that i have nothing else specified for the NZBGet container.
  15. the share it is downloading to is set to use the cache disk. Should i instead be specifying that it only uses the cache disk?
  16. I set up a NZBGet container today and started playing around with it. I noticed that when it downloads something and starts unpacking it that it is taking forever, as in the ui says its going to take an hour to unpack. Is there anything i can do to either devote more cpu to it or something i can change so it runs a bit faster? My box is running on an i3 with 8gb of ram
  17. Maybe i missed this while searching this thread so apologies in advance. I was using CrashPlan while on unRAID v5 and just updated to the newest beta. I installed the CrashPlan container and pointed the config folder to the folder i had been using on 5 and it doesnt pick up where it left off, it makes me sign in again and start over. Is there anyway to just switch from plugin to container and keep everything going as it was without having to set everything back up?
  18. needo - yes i have been using the hostname:port or ip:port and neither are working.
  19. On the screenshot, when i change it to Host the ports section disappears. How does one manually specify a port then?
  20. Im new to Docker and thought i had everything figured out with it but apparently not. Ive spent the last hour or so searching the forums for a solution and may have missed it so i apologize if this solution is found elsewhere. I just installed the SABnzbd app from needo's repo and when i start it i am unable to access the web gui for it. I have attached a screenshot of what everything looks like in the docker configuration screen. I am using the docker tab on the unraid menu to start my containers, etc. When i try to access the web interface for sab or any of the others i have tried (couchpotato, nzbdrone) i just get a web page cannot be displayed error Hopefully its a dumb mistake on my part that you guys can point out so i can keep moving with this.

  22. I have a rackmount case with 12 hot-swap bays in it that are currently full. I can add 4 more drives to my controller card but im going to need some sort of external enclosure i would assume to place the drives in rather than let them lie bare in a case. Do you guys have any recommendation for some sort of external sata enclosure that i could put 4 drives in that would work with unRAID?
