hard to tell from your config....are you using macvlan or ipvlan as network model in the main docker-service configuration (settings - dockker)? If macvlan, switch to ipvlan instead.
-
+1
Also SMART values are "empty"...some are displayed, when Controller-type "Automatic" or "NVMe" gets selected.
However, this setting also does not stick.
unRAID 6.9.2, NVMe: Crucial Force MP600 (1TB), cache pool of 2 devices

+1 this is very confusing indeed and hard to find info, as this seems to be a rather individual naming convention that differs from the rest of the world,
-
...this is, as far as I am concerned, the correct explanation: Link

Changed Priority to Annoyance
-
Hmpf...I still don't understand what/where the root cause of the problem lies. Outside of control of unraid / by an external party or something else?
-
no, I did not...as there are still too many other bugs in 6.9.2 for my liking.
-
...i am running multiple dockers on different VLANs (br0.xx), where the central bridge (br0) is also a bonded Interface of a Quad i-350-T (mode 4 / 802.3ad) without any trouble...uptime has been +1yr without a single glitch.
Edit: the only difference I can spot in your config is, that not only do I specify the IP of the docker, but also each VLAN-Bridge interface of unraid is fully configured with IP and Gateway, like for br0.10: IP 192.168.10.25/24 gw 192.168.10.1
All network gateways are set-up at my main router (linked via a 10G uplink to the switch, where the bonding interface terminates).
-
...as said, add a 5USD (10-15USD for a dual) PCIe-x1 Intel NIC, like based on an Intel 82576 and you are good to go.
-
...not officially, no. I still have the binaries around here, but did not test them thoroughly.
I have postponed my build at this time, but I also do not think, that the best option is to change this issue to urgent, as there are other options for a new build to get around this (starting from using the beta, ending by adding a working, second NIC)
-
...the 6.9beta works with that NIC but there is no date (other than "soonTM", as usual) for GA release.
I also compiled a 6.8.3 kernel with a more recent driver (see my first post) which also works, but this is an unsatisfying situation, I think.
-
...see my edit2 in the first post.
That NIC has now 18 revisions, of which unraid 6.8.3 "only" supports the first 10.
All newer 10th gen intel platforms with onboard NICs from intel are likely to be affected.

...tested with MSI H470 and Pentium G 6400 - no iGP support, as the local GUI does not start.
6.9b25_tower-diagnostics-20200903-0221.zip
BTW: as it seems the newer revisions of this Intel NIC (i219-V) are not supported in 6.8.3-stable, which is a problem more worse that this iGP/GUI-issue, I think..see:

.
..OK, how do I do that from the command line?in /var/log/ ... demsg and syslog do not even list an ethernet deviceThe GUI is not starting locally. I'd have to transport the files via the USB anyway. In the link, there is another diagnostics, basically showing the same.Edit: got it. 6.9b25 also does not produce a local GUI (Pentium G 6400).
Yes, I also think this is a thing with the revision of the onboard NICs, as others - like you - do not have a problem.
The reason I went for that build in the first place, because I checked.
The B365M-Pro4 (Socket-1151v2) also has that NIC but the OP there states that it is working, too.
Edit: mine shows:
Ethernet controller [0200]: Intel Corporation Ethernet Connection (11) I219-V [8086:0d4d]
My guess is that at least Socket-1200 boards are affected. But this is the reason why I posted here. I don't think it is a good situation, where the recent hardware is not supported in unraid stable.
New customers should not be directed/limited to the beta, where that NIC is working. My 2 cents.
Well, if 6.9stable will arrive "verry" soon(tm), then maybe

...here*s a thread with more users suffering from broken WOL feature after upgrading to 6.7;
There is definitely a driver change from versions prior to 6.7 and the NIC appears to be shut-down when going to sleep.

works fine for me, but I deleted my old BTRFS docker folder beforr (and recreated all Dockers anew after) switching to ZFS.
Edit: but I am on rc2 still.
