  1. I was about to say that you could run a parity check to validate that you dont have enough power... but you have already run it... sooo... PSU upgrade is needed IMO
  2. IMO... pull the GPU and see if that makes things a stable, it might be enough to make things stable but given that it's likely not pulling much power(not being used) and your likely to add a HDD sometime down the road, I would opt to upgrade to a 800 watt PSU or higher
  3. What is odd is that your 'services' go offline and you see that parity is stopped with an 'error' neither of these things should effect the other, if your parity was bad... the array would function as normal, thus your 'services/dockers' would continue as normal... Likely your issue is with the backend... ie PSU or motherboard... Have you recently added a new HDD, GPU? Are you sure that your PSU is stable and large enough to run your system?
  4. Gonna rant for a little bit... while rebuilding/just adding blank disks that were precleared, unraid decided that it needed to 'rebuild' the disks and after babying the system running minimal dockers... at 80% complete, the OS decided to go MIA... zero disk activity, console MIA... restarted and started rebuilding again... FFS....
  5. I went ahead and just adding the drives as new and will start the long task of rebuilding
  6. Dont think that's possible... currently is shows that there isnt a file system to check
  7. tower-diagnostics-20241020-0843.zip Followed your exact instructions...
  8. Have a feeling I might have screwed myself here... after clearing the configs and before starting the array in maintenance mode. Disk 6 was a no show, while I could have assigned a new disk that I was preclearing, I left it out of the new config(that HDD no longer is showing as a disk that I could have assigned beyond the preclearing hdd) Currently the array shows that disk 4 is missing and that I no longer have a disk 6... Gotta feeling I am SOL...
  9. Following your orders sir tower-diagnostics-20241020-0758.zip
  10. I would like to note that this is the first time that I have ever had more then one disk fail in the ten years that I have been running this software... never expected to have more then one HDD fail at a time... but hey... shit has to hit the fan once and a while... right?!?
  11. Hello,tower-diagnostics-20241019-2100.zip While trying to upgrade a few of my HDD from 8tb to 14tb drives... in the span of 36h I had two disks fail... one a parity and the other an array disk... so... Im willing to accept that I have lost the data on the 2 data disks... not a huge lose IMO... but how do I recover from here? should I accept that the parity and the data disks are bad and replace them with a few untested disks that I have on hand? My plan was to rebuild a disk while a x2 precleared a new disk... This went without issue the one time... but here on the second attempt everything went tits up... I had a failed disk 6 52% into rebuilding the one disk... I restarted unraid and started rebuilding the 1 disk with a failed disk... 2% into the process I lost a parity drive... I would like to save one of the disks so that I dont lose 2 disks worth of data... but it would also be nice to know that if I replace the two disks, that I wont continue to have failed disks... to note... disk 4 was rebuilding... disk 6 failed first... rebooted and then the 2nd parity disk failed...
  12. I got 5 of them at 80 each. It's cheap enough to play around with and see if they will work. Im not going to put much effort into it. I see that there have been other threads commenting on it and there is a script out there for it. Research will be needed. Crossing my fingers that unraid sees them as a single drive though
  13. Hope that's not the case, due to getting close on the upper limits of HDD count. Im sure this is a nitch issue. If this is the case, could this be solved using software?
  14. Long story short I found and paid for a dual actuator HDD. Never seen this before but after doing some reading on it, it may show as two HDD to the OS? Will it display as a single HDD or two different HDD? MDD (MD14TSAS25672E-2X14) 14TB 7200RPM 256MB Cache 4KN SAS 12Gb/s 3.5inch (Dual Actuator) Enterprise Hard Drive Thank you for your time.
  15. Yes. I did include a screenshot inside the doc I shared along with the logs. Hmm. Your log and my own seem similar. The difference with my setup is that I changed the ports from 27015 to 27016. I also per your suggestion hard coded the 'serverfiles' path to disk 18
  16. Thank you for the input. I went ahead and tried these settings but without luck. Logs indicate that it seems to load but I cant find the server in game or via the steam Game Server app. Im miffed as to what is going on. Please see the attached. dod.odt
  17. So I cleaned everything out and used a different dir for the steamcmd and I got the following error If this is an issue with the CPU that I am using, Im confused due to CSSource is working fine, but if it matters I have two Intel® Xeon® CPU E5-2640 v4 @ 2.40GHz installed on this system " ---Prepare Server--- mkdir: cannot create directory ‘/serverdata/.steam/sdk32’: No such file or directory cp: target '/serverdata/.steam/sdk32/' is not a directory ---'server.cfg' found... ---Please wait--- ---Server ready--- ---Start Server--- Auto detecting CPU Using default binary: ./srcds_linux Server will auto-restart if there is a crash. 18. Spoke too soon. Noticed that the download has stopped and I checked the logs again and this is what I found. restarted the server with my Steam credentials and got the same. " Setting breakpad minidump AppID = 232290 Using breakpad crash handler dlopen failed trying to load: /serverdata/.steam/sdk32/steamclient.so with error: /serverdata/.steam/sdk32/steamclient.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Looking up breakpad interfaces from steamclient Calling BreakpadMiniDumpSystemInit Segmentation fault Add "-debug" to the /serverdata/serverfiles/srcds_run command line to generate a debug.log to help with solving this problem Sun 24 Mar 2024 03:01:20 PM CDT: Server restart in 10 seconds "
  19. This seems to have done it for me. Is there a note in the docker that I missed? Currently the server is downloading. Thanks!
  20. Hello, I am trying to get DODSource up and running but ran into a brick wall and no amount of googling has yielded anything helpful. Basically I have two errors - ERROR! 21. Anyone have a clue as to what to do?
  22. Hello all, I have been for some time now trying to get direct access to the share via 9p mode without success. Reason being is that I would like to move docker management from unraid to VMs using protainer. The VMs that I am using are base on RH without a GUI. When using different methods that I have found to mount the share I would receive errors such as, need to use method to mount and or the OS would boot into emergency mode due to the share not mounting. I have spent a few days reading and searching but without making much progress... The one method that I found could work is to create a brand new NFS share for a single docker to get it to work... but that is a poor solution IMO... Please advise... Yes I know it's currently commented out... but that's the only way I could get the VM to boot
  23. EXTENDED SMART reports are needed... for the two drives
