  1. @Squid thank you very much, I was very happy that all the answers were yes I read in other forums that PROXMOX is better for those who only want virtualization, because unraid is a NAS, so my question is, is it possible to optimize unraid for those who only want virtualization by turning off all other NAS resources? I'm going to use Unraid anyway because of the GUI it has, I really liked, its better. What about using only one thread if I don't configure anything unraid will automatically choose the minimum possible system resources right? Is it recommended that I mount the VMs using fewer cores to always leave space for unraid or does it reserve resources for its operation? Those were all my questions, my new hardware is just around the corner and I'm excited to build the unraid server.
  2. Hello, Unraid community. I would like to ask some questions before buying Unraid. I'm building a machine to run 2 game systems, one SteamOS and the other Windows. I will have 2 GPUs and 1 CPU with 8 cores and 16 threads and a total of 32gb ram. I would like to know if it is possible for both systems to have 16 threads and using as needed, each core will process whatever is necessary, another question is about the unraid itself, it can have only 1 thread or it needs an entire core, thus occupying 2 threads. Another question is about turning on the server, can the SteamOS vm be turned on by the xbox controller? And when connecting to SteamOS the other vm will be connected too? Or can it be turned off all automatically? Last question is about the network, 2 vms will be connected to the internet, but I will connect only 1 network cable directly to the motherboard, will the two vms have internet access?
