  1. Unraid 7.0.0 Server became unresponsive yesterday at approx 0900. My clue was my plex docker was down and my home assistant hadn't updated. Sometimes due to high winds power will cut out enough that my UPS will trigger a shutdown. I thought thats what happened but I found my machine still powered on. Tried tapping the power button to command a clean shutdown and nothing happened. Ended up doing a hard shutdown and restart. Unraid is back up now and running a parity check. I checked the syslog and it just stops at about 0900 hrs. No mention of trouble or error. The syslog continues from when I powered it up after the unclean shutdown. I've attached diagnostics. My suspected causes: Thumb drive going bad (Sandisk Cruzer FIt approx 3-4 years old) I have a dedicated 10GB card that is connected peer to peer to my office machine. The logs seem to be filled with entries about the network config. I've never had a problem with functionality. Power Supply going bad causing hardware fault. I've attached diagnostics. Any input is appreciated. Thank you. Diagnostics.zip
  2. Maybe this is the way its supposed to behave. On the "Main" tab when I uncheck the "Write corrections to parity" box, if I click on a different tab and then go back to main it checks itself again. Is it supposed to be like this? Thanks.
  3. I have some dumb questions, just need it cleared up. My UPS failed and shut off power to my server. I had NUT configured but the UPS completely failed. I was notified by unraid of the unclean shutdown. A parity check was not automatically started. I shut the server down and did a parity check later. When I started the parity check I made the mistake of selecting "write corrections to parity" when I started the parity check. The parity check finished with 0 errors. My questions are as follows: #1: With "0 errors" does that mean it wrote corrections that I didn't see or was notified of? Would the messaging have been different if it found errors and corrected them? #2: I fully expected to have sync errors but it reported none. Is this because I wasn't writing anything to the server at the time of the unexpected shutdown? Diagnostics attached. Thank you for your patience in advance. wellserver-diagnostics-20230726-1718.zip
  4. Thank you for the reply. Is there anyway you can elaborate on what the errors mean? Also, I'm trying to run a smart test on my appdata cache drive and nothing happens when I click the button. Thank you!
  5. Hello all. Built my unraid server about 3 weeks ago. I've been very happy with it. Checked the server logs and saw the following: I'm currently at work and will be post my diagnostics when I get home. My main appdata cache drive is a crucial P5 NVME and I get temperature warnings all the time. I've read that others have had problems with crucials. Server has been stable and no shutdowns. Uptime is like 17 days. I randomly checked the server log and found it. Dashboard is indicating 0 errors. Those two lines are the only errors that I see. Edit: I've attached the diagnostics file. wellserver-diagnostics-20221120-1529.zip
