discovered today that sabnzbd docker was not running. the answer posted earlier in this thread worked for me. sab is now running again (and Mrs is happy to have her tv shows back) thanks for posting the fix.

I am tempted. Would be first WD Black drive in my mostly WD Red array. Any reason NOT to add this drive to my array (and retire a 1.5 TB Red)? It will use more power as it spins at 7200 RPM.

does a 5 TB WD Red have EXACT SAME capacity as 5 TB WD Green? I now have a 5 TB Red for parity drive. I would not like to buy a 5 TB green and be unable to add it to array because it has one more byte of capacity than the Red parity drive. If you have Red and Green drives of the same advertised capacity and one of them is your parity drive, how has that worked out?

Recently installed sonarr and sabnzbd dockers and starting seeing the "docker imagine disk utilization at X%" email messages. I also could not find the completed tv shows that sonarr & sab said had been downloaded successfully. I searched this forum and did broader Google search but never found the cause of the problem. I revisited the folder settings in sabnzbd and discovered i had entered "downloads" instead of "tvdownloads" as the destination for completed downloads. "downloads" was not mapped to anything for the sab container. "tvdownloads" was mapped to my "/tv" user share (for Plex tv shows). correcting this mapping has solved the problem. maybe this will help someone else. -Kevin

maybe. i use sonarr and sab on a win10 pc (have yet to move these to unRAID dockers). have never run sabnzbvpn . using torguard on my torrent app has worked for me.

did you give API key from sab to sonarr?

Searched forums some but did not see any answer..... Is there a way to be notified (via email or pushbullet) when the web GUI of any of my dockers (sonarr, sabnzb, plex, etc) is not reachable? Specifically, I'd like to know when Plex is not reachable by the friends & family I've shared it with. I setup unRAID array status email notifications and they work great. I just turned on pushbullet notices but they seem to apply only to the array status and not to dockers. Thanks.

upgraded to 6.1.9 this AM. cache drive was unassigned after the reboot (so no Dockers running). I assigned it again, all dockers up again, life is good. just another data point.

do I replace year old 5TB WD Red parity drive with the 6TB Seagate (now $199 on Amazon)? The Seagate would be the first non WD drive in my array. Wish the WD reds were on sale sometime soon. Decisions, decisions.

good idea ... my 20 something nephew has 4 kids under age 7 and a stay at home mom. he asked me about upgrades to an old PC he had months ago but never followed up. will contact him again

i have all the HW to build another box of some kind.... AMD FX cpu, mobo, 4GB DDR3 RAM, mid tower case, power supply, various hard drives each smaller than 400 GB , SATA cables, etc. what could i build with this stuff other than another unRAID box? (now have two of them).

i've had some challenges getting asus motherboards to boot from unraid usb sticks. in the asus bios, on the screen that lists all the disks seen by the bios, you might pick "usb" for disk1 (instead of picking an actual hard disk for disk1). setting bios to boot from usb first never worked for me. it was changing disk1 that helped me with recent mobo upgrade in my son's unraid box. good luck.

long time sickbeard/sonarr/sabnzbd/bittorrent/torguard user on a win10 pc. first time CP user on any platform/OS. for giggles, i installed CP and SAB dockers today. i have the two apps configured but not certain i have CP set to use my acct with toguard when using torrents from KAT or TPB. did not see where to enter torguard userid/password in CP. really need to get the (torrent, not HTTP) proxy dialed in and soon. appreciate any advice. thanks.

success! i created a ubuntu 15.10 vm and passed an HP USB printer to it. (first time passing any HW to a VM). in ubuntu VM, i shared the printer to local network. the Mrs can now print to her fav printer from iPad (and laptop). Life is good!

i bought this same mobo today and had same problem tucansam described. i can tell bios to boot from usb (and it worked ok) but bios did not REMEMBER this change (even after i did SAVE and EXIT). what worked for me today was to go to the section of bios that lists the hard drives. tell bios that hard drive 1 is your usb thumb drive. in the boot order section, set it to boot from disk 1.

i routinely use the snipping tool in Win 7 (or later) to capture screen images for future reference. its easy to use to make a JPG file.

imo, you want a cpu passmark score of 2000 for each HD stream. I have AMD FX 8350 and would buy it again.

were you looking at motherboard and cpu combos with your wife? ;-)

1. installed 8 GB DDR3 RAM, bringing total to 16 GB 2. learned enough of Midnight Commander to copy and restore files 3. replaced 500 GB cache drive with an SSD how has your Sat AM gone? For the cost of the "Basic" and "Plus" licenses I have, unRAID has been the best software I've ever owned.
