Its just a "secure" step to keep the parity clean. I saw, that the parity disk writes a lot during deleting the whole content of the reiserfs-disk. I am not sure, if it effects the parity when i reformat the disk directly and i dont want to try it I dont want to correct the parity after each disk-copy.

I decided to do this by hand now over: rsync -avPX /mnt/disk10/ /mnt/disk11/ After all is copied, i remove the files from the "old reiserfs disk" by hand Works perfect It seems, the Dev is ooo because no reply since days...

I am using this plugin (v1.4.0) since today and i am a little bit confused. This plugin moves files always to only one disk. Is this normal? The Discription says, it moves as long as there's enough space available. But it stops always after one disk reach the limit - in my case 200GB - and it dont continue on the next selected disk. Can someone explain this The Dev says in Post 1: unBALANCE is an unRAID plugin that frees space from one of the disks in your array, by moving user shares/folders to other disks in the array, as long as there is space available - but it dosnt EDIT: Got this message today during movement: MOVE: Move command (rsync -avX --partial "/mnt/disk5/TV-Serien/Homeland" "/mnt/disk7/TV-Serien") was interrupted: exit status 13 It seems, there is an error The array has free space of 5455GB EDIT 2: After copying a File from Disk 5 to Disk 10, the Plugin didnt remove the File from Disk 5 - lol??? I started the "next" copy process (because of exit status 13) and this Plugin copies now "the same file again" to Disk 4 - iiihihi It seems there is something wrong with the "space recognition" because the Name of the non deleted Folder on disk 5 was "007 - James Bond" EDIT 3: After this "strange" operation, the plugin stopt working completely and gives the message "exit status 13" - no more copies anymore - lol

Nothing gets changed until the very end when it asks you to change values, and then confirm. You are safe. For what it's worth I re-downloaded the txt file in the first post, and using notepad I did a search and replace of /root/mdcmd to the new path, saved it to my flash drive and then ran the script. ...and what is the "new path" ? Can the author modify this Script for v6.1.4 please? Thanks

Hi bonienl, i have a "big" problem with the Sleep-Plugin. I installed "System-Button" and now my Sleep-Settings are not working anymore. When i send the machine to sleep, it goes to sleep and after 3sek, it came back and all Disks are running. I deinstalled the System-Button Plugin, but sleep is no longer working It seems i have to reinstall the whole unraid or is there any suggestion, what i can do before i reinstall? I need help for this please! Thanks EDIT: I found a Folder called "plugins-uninstalled" and removed it. I removed also "all other" Dynamix Plugins and reinstalled it again. After some reboots, the server is now working again - strange behavior

Hi trurl, thanks for your help and sorry for the typing error English is not my native language and yes, i ment tabbed I have already done that but the SMART values are behind a "link". All important infos are on top of the menu bar but Smart is behind "Disk" on the main page. That was the reason i said, its not logical for me. In the old Dynamix this values were reachable over the main menu tabs - that is the difference. But now the new "way" is also ok for me. I was a little bit confused at the beginning because i thought, this info-page was removed

In the final release of unRAID 6 there is no perl package included. This needs be installed manually and is needed to make detect work. I have also the problem that nothing is shown in System Temp - Detect is not working. I miss also the page where alle Disks are shown and where i can do a SMART-check for each disk. Is this page no longer available??? EDIT: found it under MainPage - not happy whith this
