  1. I think you should segment your network with VLAN and place iot on one and drop everything to/from that network thats coming from your main lan?
  2. I really dont know the complexity of getting this to work, but I would presume that having the drivers installable from the user via CA or such would be really hard. Just compiling AMD and nvidia drivers with unRaid should be the most simple way to do it. You will though loose the ability to choose driver version and not be able to install others like tuners but I think this would solve 90% of the use cases
  3. Output

    A proper login page

Would really like this too since lastpass does not till this in on chrome either on macos or windows. A real login page would be awsome
  4. This would be great, I guess I run a normal setup where dockers would be on a pool with SSD disks and I would then want another pool with HDD disks
  5. I really like the idea to be able to pause the parity check, but since I just added 8tb disks to my array my check times has increased. Thus I would instead of a pause be able to set the time when the check is done. For instance be able to set so that the check is only done 1 am - 8 am. It would then continue the ( if triggered by the schedular) the next night 1 am - 8 am and so on until done.
  6. Seems like the information on the support articles are old, check https://forums.plex.tv/t/what-gpu-to-get-for-hardware-acceleration/227537/28 and you can see that people are running nvidia HW offload on linux and in dockers. So we are just now waiting for unRaid to support nvidia drivers
  7. I too wish to pass my nvidia card to plex docker for hw transcoding
  8. started array in maint mode, xfs -L /dev/md7 and all is good now.
  9. Hi I've had CA backup and restore for a while and not used it more than once. Today I wanted to setup automatic backup of my dockers and to do that I first wanted to delete the old backup. I pressed delete all but it seems like something went wrong. Disk 7 now seems to have a filesystem error and I cant access if from web, network of console.Im on 6.2.2, newest CA. log says: ErrorWarningSystemArrayLogin Nov 28 22:22:46 Tower kernel: [<ffffffff81282194>] xfs_inactive+0xa2/0xc1 Nov 28 22:22:46 Tower kernel: [<ffffffff81286409>] xfs_fs_evict_inode+0x90/0x93 Nov 28 22:22:46 Tower kernel: [<ffffffff8111e351>] evict+0xaf/0x164 Nov 28 22:22:46 Tower kernel: [<ffffffff8111ee9d>] iput+0x160/0x16d Nov 28 22:22:46 Tower kernel: [<ffffffff81116226>] do_unlinkat+0x125/0x201 Nov 28 22:22:46 Tower kernel: [<ffffffff81116871>] SyS_unlink+0x11/0x13 Nov 28 22:22:46 Tower kernel: [<ffffffff816213ae>] entry_SYSCALL_64_fastpath+0x12/0x6d Nov 28 22:22:46 Tower kernel: XFS (md7): xfs_do_force_shutdown(0x8) called from line 991 of file fs/xfs/xfs_trans.c. 10. Could be other issues too, but having the docker container path setup towards Plex without write should be the way to go I guess in any way
  11. I got the corruption when having read//write, changing this to read only did the trick for me.
  12. Just updated from 9.1.9 to 6.2 without issues. Great work LimeTech!
  13. Looks like the names are also encrypted. I guess someone could write a plugin with file name trigger to lock the shares? Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
  14. I have a vm running acronis cloud backup, works really well Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
  15. I use plex docker and noticed that adding files to a share where cache pool is used, the files won't be seen by plex until they are moved from cache to array.
  16. The netgear gs series are great, I have 6 in total and core switch is a gs724v3. Just don't put that one into powersave mode, it will drop ports after a few months....
  17. Thing is, even with mutipath most clients are only connected with one port, so it becomes useless when we are talking gigabit speeds.
  18. Depends on what your goal is. If you think you will saturate the link between router and switches then you'll need to have LACP between them. Note though that LACP will not speed up a single session between two clients, it will however speed up your network if you have more clients connected. I use it because my server is a wmware server, thus the backbone between my main core switch and the network towards the server needs to have at least 2gbit if I want to ensure that network will not be the bottleneck. The TP link I guess is fine, I've gone the corp netgear road for my main core switch and then I just continued with all other switches placed in the house
  19. It has to be a smart switch, http://www.netgear.com/business/products/switches/smart/GS108Tv2.aspx#tab-techspecs. The gs108 has several flavors.
  20. Netgear smarts witches work great. I have a gs724v3 and it has no fan and a couple gs108 too.
  21. I live in Sweden and I got the xcase from UK, it's a really great case! The pro modell that is.
  22. Search and you will find a lot of issues, I don't know if the issues exists still in exsi 5.5 though.
  23. I think the m1015 raid card would work better, rumor says the card your looking at can be trouble when running pass through.
