  1. Getting this when trying to run tmux like I have a thousand times before:

    directory /tmp/tmux-0 has unsafe permissions

    I ran Docker Safer New Permissions but that didn't resolve (Not sure that touches /tmp anyway.)

    • Tools -> System shows my onboard motherboard NIC driver as "Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller"
    • Fix Common Problems says "Realtek R8168 NIC found".

    But nothing I'm reading says anything about 8411. So... do I install the 8111/8168 drivers, or not?

    Thanks!

    The info for the RTL8168(B)/RTL8111(B) PCI Drivers plugin on the App store calls out 8411 too

     When I boot up my server I get the following error in the output of the screen

    mv: cannot stat '/usr/local/bin/mover': No such file or directory

    it is not really an issue, I searched the web and I found this post talking about this and the addon "move tuning plugin", which I assume is "CA Mover Tuning". The post talks about deleting the plugin. Now I do not have an issue with the server not starting, just that the entry is there.

    I looked at the '/usr/loval/bin/mover' which is a shell script

    #!/bin/bash
    PPPID=`ps h -o ppid= $PPID 2>/dev/null`
    P_COMMAND=`ps h -o %c $PPPID 2>/dev/null`
    /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/ca.mover.tuning/mover.php $P_COMMAND $1

    I looked at the file mentioned, and the mover.php file is where it is supposed to be, seems everything is working as intended, except that I get the error when booting it, surely I could just ignore it. But I rather fix it than leave it there.

    Did you ever get an answer to this?  I see this message upon boot too.  Doesn't seem to be harming anything, but just knowing it's there is annoying :)

  4. Looking for a sanity check here.  Parity check kicked off last night at 6PM.  A few minutes into the parity check a bunch of errors like the below popped up.  I've ordered replacement SAS->SATA cables for my HBA drives, and replacement SATA cables for my motherboard-connected drives.  Anything else I should be looking for?  I've attached diagnostics.

  5. Suddenly getting "Conversion failed. A required codec could not be found or failed to install." when trying to play media.

    This warning appears in the plex console when playing fails:

    [Transcode] HTTP error requesting GET https://plex.tv/api/codecs/h264_decoder?build=linux-x86_64-standard&deviceId=cfb78a4e-ef5f-4d89-8c6c-ecb622afcfa9&oldestPreviousVersion=1%2E2%2E7%2E2987-1bef33a&version=fa235d6-3855 (6, Couldn't resolve host name) (Could not resolve host: plex.tv)

    I've tried deleting the codecs folder, and also chmod'ing it to 777 but still get the error.

    Edit: Changing VERSION from plexpass to public has resolved this behavior.

  6. The fact that Amazon and Apple have come out with strong denials, and have even said that they are under no gag order, tells me that Bloomberg's report is wrong.
