    Don't you have to pay customs/taxes for incoming packages? How much is the shipping costs? Wouldn't all these extra costs not make it worthwhile to purchase the items locally? I have never found it beneficial to order something from the US (I am outside of the US) after including shipment and taxes.

    I had the same problem with my installation. I installed it over an existing installation and what I found out was that the files in /boot/custom/transmission had good parameters but the files in the alternate location had default parameters which did not allow the web UI. 1. Deleted the old and new installations - all transmission files (in flash drive and alternate location) including the .conf file. 2. Downloaded the .conf file again. 3. Installed the package again with needed parameters. All worked OK.

    Can you show the complete folder tree (and files) of both the /boot/custom/transmission directory and the folder where your package is installed to. As I wrote I seem to have 2 different settings files (one in each folder) with different setting (one with correct settings and another with incorrect settings which the daemon is using).

    I have tried the installation and have defined the installation folder as "/mnt/user/Documents/trans_config/" (without the quotes). I get correct settings files in the original /boot/custom/transmission/transmission_conf directory. I get one settings file "settings.json" in /mnt/user/Documents/trans_config/ directory. No files in /mnt/user/Documents/trans_config/transmission_conf directory. The above "settings.json" file is with wrong values - not as configured. help?

    Can I set up one of my user shares to be the Transmission configuration directory? Isn't there a problem with the boot sequence? first the packages are installed and only then is the array ready. Or am I mistaken?

    I think UPSes display the wattage taken from them - but they have some power loss on them 70-90% so they are quite inaccurate.

    As I said it may be slower. Are you sure that it will be copied twice? won't windows read once from server 1 and write straight to server 2? Because it is a 1 time process I think he may opt for longer transfer speeds instead of moving around drives or setting up RSYNC. Just leave it overnight more accurately 29 hours (at 30MB/s).

    Another way (maybe slower) is to connect both servers to a windows/mac machine and do the copying via that machine - from one unraid server disk share to the other unraid server disk share. for faster speeds set your sister's server without parity first and only after copy is done turn on parity.
