  1. It seems Lime Tech sucks, increased price and no real updates, even responsive design is joke.
  2. @b52 I am not maintainer, I just updated zfs master plugin for myself, I can share it, installation is manually, just copy 2 files and install from plugin page. But anyway it is inventing wheel, Lime Tech should create similar plugin, support it and integrate to system. Mentioned here https://forums.unraid.net/topic/195218-feature-request-native-zfs-support-health-monitoring-notifications-snapshots/#findComment-1591528
  3. Few hours and I improved it, also added animations.
  4. Owner of this template, but should be fixed path. It doesn`t work and also commands for create folders should automatically included in installation procedure. 2025/11/20 13:42:57 [ERROR] Error during indexing: error getting disk usage for /srv/users: no such file or directory It is really weird to have a files only inside /users folder. If somebody would like to use existed files - need to create /users folder and copy all files?
  5. The ZFS Master plugin has been unmaintained for a long time (reference: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/122261-plugin-zfs-master/page/28/#comment-1585411), and as a result, Unraid currently lacks a reliable way to monitor or manage ZFS pools. Since ZFS is now officially supported, this gap has a real impact on users who rely on it for data integrity. At this point, native ZFS integration is becoming essential. Specifically, Unraid needs to provide: Built-in ZFS pool health monitoring Automatic user notifications for errors, degradation, or resilver events Native snapshot creation, scheduling, pruning, and restoration A basic GUI for pool and dataset visibility Most of these features require only simple underlying commands (zpool status, zfs list, etc.), so integrating them at the OS level should be far more achievable than many of the UI enhancements that have been prioritized recently. To be candid: ZFS was advertised as a supported feature, but without these core management tools it doesn’t feel complete. It would be very reassuring to see native ZFS functionality prioritized above cosmetic UI changes — especially since parts of the new “responsive UI” still suffer from usability issues like excessive horizontal scrolling. A solid, first-class ZFS experience would provide far more practical value to the community and would ensure that users running production-level storage can rely on Unraid for monitoring and data integrity. Thank you for considering this request — many users would greatly appreciate meaningful progress in this area.
  6. I understand how software development works, but the scenario described here is quite straightforward—just a simple happy flow end-to-end (E2E) test, nothing complicated. If EXT4 support was marketed as a feature of Unraid 7.2, the expectation is clear: the user should be able to add an EXT4 drive to the array, set up a share folder, and then be able to create files and access their own data. This is a basic use case, and it seems no one has actually tested it. Similarly, the issue with the "lost+found" folder seems to have been overlooked. It’s apparent that the EXT4 drive was never even formatted before, as prior to my report, it was stated that it wasn’t an issue. It’s becoming evident that users who purchased an Unraid license are essentially acting as Lime Technologies' beta testers. This doesn’t seem like the ideal model for releasing features to the public.
  7. It seems author decided to stop supporting plugin, no updates for almost a year, technically plugin just adds more visual information about datasets and snapshots, but honestly it is not really important, because anyway Unraid doesn't understand when you pool has errors, nothing will notify you, so Lime Technologies sold "ZFS" support as feature, but only @Iker really supported ZFS feature and community, nobody from LT did this and these people increase price for Unraid license ... 🤣 Circus.
  8. Thank you for your response, but with all due respect, I cannot agree to act as a free tester for Lime Technology. When I purchase a product, I expect it to be thoroughly tested and ready for release. It’s disappointing to see that even basic features like EXT4 support haven’t been properly tested. This is quite frustrating.
  9. Thank you!
  10. It is correct. On pool data dataset is empty (because of mover) and I could not create anything, so technically it is related to ext4 drive itself. If I am not mistaken (again because of mover) - root user has all rights without issues, issue only related to both users that I have with read/write rights.
  11. Yes, only with one share "data" that on ext4 drive.
  12. I downgraded to 7.1.4 and see no issue, I suppose it is not only related to samba, but also related to my data drive which was in ext4 format. So, 7.2 is absolutely unready for production, but many people write on reddit "no issues, so far" americans...
  13. I will try also smb3 directory leases = no And didn`t help
  14. Oh thank you! I already tried everything and thought maybe zfs related, then maybe ext4 related...
