System crashing
Hi my system seems to be crashing, I wonder if anyone can see anything in my logs (I cant) or can advise me how to troubleshoot this? I have my server set to auto power-on but not auto-start the array. I usually find out there has been a problem when Plex isnt working. I then tailscale to the box (if im out) and start the array. This will tell me there has been an unclean shutdown and start a parity check. Last time this happened I found out at around 12:00 on the 29/08, looking at the logs I cant see anything after app/plugin auto-update completed at 04:30. Thanks for any help. tower-diagnostics-20250830-1741.zip

Network loss causing unclean shutdown?
Sorry for not being clear. The original issue was: I rebooted my router to trouble-shoot a broadband issue with my ISP. After I had finished speaking with my ISP (and router was back online etc) I noticed that all of my docker hosted services were not running. I logged in to unraid to see what was up and saw my array was not running. I started the array and received the message that an unclean shutdown was detected and a parity check would start. I am not sure what triggered this unclean shutdown, my unraid host is plugged into a ups, im assuming this is due somehow to the network outage I caused? To complicate things (sorry) once I started the array all of my docker services came back up except one (Adguard home) this happens sometimes and a reboot sorts it, at this point I did perform a clean reboot to fix that different issue im aware of which is why when you asked me to check my uptime it wouldnt be very long. I hope that helps a bit.

Network loss causing unclean shutdown?
Maybe if I upload the previous syslog that might help you? There was no power interruption I'm aware of.

Network loss causing unclean shutdown?
Damn. I have manually restarted after I posted this to fix a docker container that wasn't working. Does that part of the syslog imply a reboot did happen then?

Network loss causing unclean shutdown?
Yeah this is what I thought. There was no shutdown at all, the system is even on a UPS. All that happened was I powered off the router and pulled the power in the modem.

Network loss causing unclean shutdown?
Hi I have had some issues with my broadband recently and my ISP has had me turn off my router/modem to troubleshoot. Sometimes this has caused me to have to start my array again (I do not have autostart enabled). After starting an unclean shutdown is detected and a parity check starts. I wouldnt expect this to happe from network loss is that right? tower-diagnostics-20250416-1527.zip

Server keeps crashing
My server keeps crashing and im not sure why, can anyone see anything in my logs? Sometimes its available by ssh but sometimes not. I thought it was due to failures on a disk in my cache pool so I have just moved my shares from cache to array. tower-diagnostics-20250224-1235.zip

[Support] ich777 - Gameserver Dockers
I was following this guide: https://unraid.net/blog/unraid-valheim-dedicated-server Which is why I set the network to br0 but this didnt work and was just stuck in a loop where it would error sayng SteamCMD not installed. I have now set the network to bridge and its all working fine.

[Support] ich777 - Gameserver Dockers
I fixed it. I read somewhere the network had to be set to br0 but that didnt work, when I set it back to bridge it worked fine. Thanks for getting back to me.

Is the Valheim docker still working? SteamCMD is not installing for me and I cant see anyone else reporting th same issue.

Transport Endpoint / Socket not connected?
Thanks that diag log was from yesterday evening. I took the log and rebooted and it resolved the issue. This morning I woke up and it seemed to have reoccurred. Ive attached a log from just now, can you confirm its the same issue? Ill reboot again. tower-diagnostics-20240925-1129.zip

Transport Endpoint / Socket not connected?
A number of my docker containers have started failing: Homepage Plex Netdata AdGuard Home Errors in the logs seem to be related to Transport Endpoint / Socket not connected? I have attached a diag log from yesterday, I rebooted after the log was taken and the containers were ok again but this morning have failed. Thanks. tower-diagnostics-20240924-1811.zip

Docker container network dropping
Hi, my binhex-jellyfin container keeps dropping its network connection for about 10 seconds and then comes back. I also get an email every now and then that my Plex remote access is down, not sure of thats related or not. Access to Plex is configured through a Swag container. Fix Common Problems is telling me I should switch from macvlan but im not convinced I should listen, Ive read that isnt a problem any more? Thanks, tower-diagnostics-20240811-1852.zip

Unable to boot from USB with new hardware
I fixed it. I needed to enable CSM but I couldnt turn it on, every time I tried I would save and exit BIOS and it would sit at a blank screen. Then after a reboot and entering BIOS again it was turned off. The fix was to disable secure boot, once this was off I was able to enable CSM and could then boot from the Unraid USB.

Unable to boot from USB with new hardware
If I connect to the 'flash' SMB share I can see the folder EFI- Should I rename this to EFI? Im just worried I might get myself into a situation where I cant boot unraid on either of the PCs.

Unable to boot from USB with new hardware
yeah not sure whats up, it still works flawlessly in my old PC

Unable to boot from USB with new hardware
Old server is UEFI too. I wonder if its a CSM thing, I see its on on the old server but I cant enable it on the new one.

Unable to boot from USB with new hardware
If I put the USB drive into a Windows PC it says it needs formatting. Ill boot the old Unraid server and see if its UEFI or legacy.
