  1. Hi all, Probably a very simple question, but still something I'm wondering about. I've been getting a lot of these messages in my logs, whilst no USB devices are connected (except for the UnRAID thumbdrive), but definitely no input devices. I do have a VM installed, but it's not running currently. What does it tell? Cheers! 2. Hi all, I've been using Tailscale for tunneling, however I do want to add some other users and the WireGuard VPN that's built in seems a better option for me, seeing that it's free and I'm not using any advanced features of Tailscale anyway. I just want to give some friends access to certain services that I'm running without exposing my server to the entirety of the internet. I've been trying to set WireGuard VPN up in the settings menu, but the handshake between devices never seems to happen, as I've tried adding my phone as a device that could connect to my server. I've looked around quite a bit for the answer to my question. These are the steps that I've undertaken already in order to troubleshoot it myself. - Forwarded the port 51820 on my router - Added a cloudflare domain for dynamic DNS, I've also tested the actual IP-address instead of the subdomain to be certain that I haven't set that up incorrect - Tried disabling NAT - Deleted all the config files on appdata from the old Wireguard-Easy container, in case those were interfering Are there any other points which could cause the WG tunnel not to work? I would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions. Thanks in advance!
  3. Just to provide an update from my side. For some reason the Western Digital Element drives weren't able to mount simultaneously. After rebooting the server I was able to read them out fine, just not at the same time. Thanks again for taking the time to think along!
  4. Thanks for taking the time to respond dlandon, I really do appreciate it. Unfortunately I don't see an option to mount a different partition it seems. I've checked on both the disk as well as the partition. The partition did allow me to set a number for the apfs volume, however changing that parameter to different values didn't result in anything. I've added the diagnostics below. myserver-diagnostics-20230202-1239.zip
  5. Hi all, I had a question about moving files from my external hard drives to my UnRAID server. I suspect I'm just overlooking something really obvious as I'm a beginner. I have the Unassigned Devices+ plugin installed, but I'm unable to mount some hfs+ and apfs partitions. On my computer I'm able to access these drives normally, so it doesn't seem like there's something up with the drives themselves. Does anyone know what it might be? Thanks in advance!
  6. Hi everyone, I'm sorry for the millionth thread with specs for a home server, but I would really appreciate your input, before dedicating to certain purchases. I want to build a NAS with some extra options. Mostly for: • Storage • Automatic Linux ISO downloads • (remote) Media library (likely through Jellyfin) • Minecraft server I want to make an Unraid setup, and I had the following specs in mind • MSI Z590-A PRO • Intel i3-10105, 3,7ghz quad core w/ intel 630 gpu • 2x 8gb 3200mhz ram • WD SN770 500gb M.2 SSD as a cache • Several 18TB Seagate exos drives (and slowly add onto that) • Corsair RM650 • Cooler Master Hyper 212 • Fractal Design Define R5 Let me know what you think, and if I could improve on certain aspects. Not looking to go a lot bigger budget wise, but if money could be spent more wisely I'm all ears. Thanks!!! PCPartPicker list
