  1. When it happens, UD shows the shares as mounted, but if you try to browse them, a "not available" message is in the file browser. Also, the AppServer is v7.rc.1
  2. Yes, UD, with the Automount option selected.
  3. I have 2 Unraid servers: Server 1 is a FileServer & Server 2 is an AppServer Everything is working good, but there's been a couple of times where the AppServer loses connection with the FileServer shares. A quick unmount/mount in the AppServer resolves this. So, my question is - is there an EASY way to monitor the NFS connections and if it drops out, it will trigger an unmount/mount?
  4. Really long thread, so I figured that it would be easier to ask outright: I'm setting up a 2nd Unraid server that will be solely for apps/Docker. Can I use this plugin to restore my current apps to the new server, meaning that it will basically do everything other than adjust the paths as required?
  5. I also just changed the Mover to run once daily instead of hourly
  6. Diagnostic files - as requested neo-diagnostics-20241030-1852.zip
  7. I'm using the Mover Tuning plugin, so there's usually nothing actually moving. I'll post the diagnostic files.
  8. There's zero activity on any of the 13 drives in the array. The only activity is on one of the pools.
  9. I'm having a weird issue with my server. All but 2 of my drives are SATA, but I do have the SAS-Spindown addon installed for the other 2 drives. The drives just aren't spinning down - period. I did a manual spin-down and they instantly spun back up for a SMART check. I waited about 5 minutes and did the spin-down again. EXACT same - instant SMART check. I looked in the logs and since 01:00 today, zero spin-downs or SMART checks until I did the 2 manual spin-downs. I'm running v6.12.13, with the spin-down delay set to 15 minutes. 10. Suggestion: Add support for transferring to/from Unassigned drives
  11. I just started the parity rebuild. Sonarr & Radarr have some work to do, I guess.
  12. No diagnostics because the drive is physically dead. I don't have a replacement yet. The main issue was that I did the config wrong by having it not preserve the drive assignments.
  13. I just replaced my flash drive (no issues there). While the flash drive was in read-only mode, I had a drive fail in my array. When I booted up, the array was labeled as "new configuration" or similar. Sure enough - 2 drives in the array weren't assigned correctly. So, I go to new config and hit the wrong button. It wants to rebuild the parity from scratch, which means that I'll lose the data on the drive that failed (new one is shipped). Is there any way to reload the array & pool config before it makes any changes? Will marking the "Parity is valid" checkbox before I start the array save it? All drives are in the exact same location, physically and in the config. The only drive not showing up at all is the one that died on me overnight. It won't let me assign the original drive to that slot because it's physically dead - won't read at all.

Digging up this post to ask about my options for possibly converting to ZFS, especially with the v7 ZFS additions. I currently have an 88Tb array, with 2x12Tb parity. My array is a combination of drive sizes - 7x4Tb, 1x8Tb, 4x10Tb and 1x12Tb. My current usage is 73.5Tb out of 88Tb total. My array is almost exclusively for media files, so I don't know if compression would benefit me with the majority of files converted to h265. I'm planning on ordering another 12Tb drive this weekend, as well. So, with my various drive sizes, what are my options other than ordering enough 12Tb drives to hold everything? I do want to use a RaidZ, either level 1 or 2, and would like for the drives to be able to spin down when not in use. I'm completely new with ZFS, with just created 2 work pools as basic Raid-0.
  15. Looks fantastic! I've been wanting a new automated speedtest. Great work.
  16. It's installing now. Gawd - random errors are terrifying LOL
  17. ZFS Raid-0 4 drive pool
  18. Ok - it might not be your install. I just tried installing a couple of other apps and getting the same 503 error
  19. Looks promising, but it fails during the install
  20. I'm getting that same error. Posted my logs a few minutes ago.

  22. I currently have an LSI 9207-8I IT-mode HBA card. Can I add a Lenovo 03X3834 16i expansion card for additional internal ports? Also, do I need to connect both HBA ports from the 9207-8i to the expander, or just one? The link is the first one I came across: https://www.ebay.com/itm/153756961388?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=zq9OX4YXQYW&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=UEfzxO2NQ86&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  23. After work, I set everything to not use the Work pool just to see how the system runs without it and t's doing fantastic. I did shut down Tdarr for the time being. I had ordered 2x 1Tb drives for my previous server build, but never did install them. I also ordered 2x 1Tb and a 4-bay hot-swap adapter, which are due to deliver tomorrow. The array cache will be Raid-1 and the work cache will be Raid-0. I might try the SSD's directly on the MB SATA ports, but will probably just trash them. They're cheap drives and with all of the write/deletes from the NZBs, I'm guessing that they're worn out. If the change to spinning drives works out, I'll most likely add another hot-swap bay and more drives to the caches over time to help primarily with transfer speeds. Thanks for the help.
  24. Or, create 2 separate pools: Work - 4-6x 512Gb, RAID-0, spinning disks Array cache - 2x1Tb, Raid-1, SSD or spinning?
