  2. I guess my concept was built on a fundamental misunderstanding of TRIM... Obv. TRIM is a good thing to preserve disk life, so I def. want that, but I want to be able to grow the array/pool over time as I can afford new drives. In fact, not ALL drives I have are 2TB. I have two 2TB NVMe drives in a btrfs mirror I had hoped to use for as my main system (docker, VMs, etc. I then wanted to have a pool of 4: 2TB SSDs and a couple more 1TB and 500GB SSDs... and eventually sprinkle in some 4TBs. What would you recommend for an optimal configuration?
  3. I have 2 UNRAID arrays. I've decided I want one to be all-SSD (2TB each), and the other to have all my spinning disks... The problem is I had an 18TB spinning disk as the parity drive for the longest time, and now the largest SSD I have is only 2TB. I started a new config, removed the 18TB parity, and now it won't let me add a 2TB SSD as the new parity drive. It says it's not the largest drive. I even rebooted to remove the 18TB drive and try again and still says my 2TB is not the largest drive. I've seen mention of "parity swap" feature but don't see it anywhere. I'm on 7.0.1. What should I try next?
