[Plugin] Mover Tuning
I recently ran into an issue with Mover Tuning after upgrading Unraid to 7.0, so I came across this post. However, even after doing a dry run, I still noticed some problems. To give a bit of background, I have two cache pools: `cacheos` and `cachemeta`. `cacheos` is used to store `/appdata`, `/domains`, `/supports`, and `/system`. I have set the Primary storage to `cacheos`, Secondary storage to `array`, and enabled "Secondary storage to Primary storage." My requirement for `cacheos` is that as long as usage doesn’t exceed my set limit (90%), Mover should not move any files off the cache, and it should transfer any files from the array back to the cache. `cachemeta` is used for download caching and storing small media files like .nfo files and movie posters. The Primary storage is `cachemeta`, Secondary storage is `array`, and I have enabled "Primary storage to Secondary storage." My requirement for `cachemeta` is that any file larger than 20MB should be moved to the array. Mover works fine for `cachemeta`, but I'm running into a lot of issues with `cacheos`. Even when there's still plenty of space available in cacheos, Mover keeps trying to move files to the array—things like font files in `/support`, LLM models and database files in `/appdata`, and even my docker.img. I'm not sure how to fix this. I’ve also tried disabling Mover Tuning in the schedule settings and setting individual Mover options for each share, but the issue persists. I’ll be uploading syslog.txt as well. syslog.txt

Can UNRAID only cache small files in folders?
Hi, I think I've found a better method. You can directly use the "rsync" command in the terminal, which is very handy. Here's a tutorial from the Chinese post. You can translate it while reading or find an English tutorial. I hope this can help you.

[Plugin] Mover Tuning
I recently added a new hard drive to my array and manually balanced the usage of two hard drives using unbalance. Today, I found that small files such as posters and subtitles from my original movie library in the cache were all moved to the array, presumably because I didn't pay attention to this issue during the unbalance operation. Now, I want to reverse the process and move the small files from the array back to the cache, while keeping the folder structure unchanged. I noticed that the mover can be set to "move only files larger than xx MB." However, I'm only moving small files like posters, subtitles, and nfo files, so I need an operation like "move only files smaller than xx MB," but this is not available in the mover. I want to know if there are any plugins or other methods to achieve the above purpose.

Unraid

Can UNRAID only cache small files in folders?
I'm not sure if there's a more convenient way. As you can see, I used a particularly clumsy method, essentially simulating an external data import process. I think the most troublesome part isn't selecting the smaller files, but how to move them while still retaining their file hierarchy structure.

After upgrading to 6.12, both of my caches are not recognized.
I replace the lines with these commands, now my cache disks live again. Thx

After upgrading to 6.12, both of my caches are not recognized.
I have no idea with any "crack related lines". I am using the basic version that I purchased. Where can I find these "crack related lines" and remove them?

After upgrading to 6.12, both of my caches are not recognized.
I upgraded my system from 6.11.5 to 6.12 last night. After the upgrade, I noticed that both of my cache drives (cacheos, cachemeta) are no longer recognized, and now they can only be formatted. The cacheos drive contains my Docker configuration files and some other small system files, while the cachemeta drive contains small media files like movie posters and subtitles. (cacheos is set to "only" and cachemeta is set to "prefer"). As a result, I cannot simply format these two SSDs and use them as new caches. I am also unable to transfer the files out of these drives. What should I do? Would rolling back to 6.11.5 help? Thank you.

docker container can't update due to configuration not found
I used the CA plugin to deploy a Jellyfin container. Yesterday I got a system e-mail said I have a container waiting for update. So I tried to manually update the container in unraid's docker tab and got the warning info. Configuration not found. Was this container created using this plugin? At this time, jellyfin is still running as good as normal. I re-pulled the latest image and recreated the jellyfin container by using PORTAINER-CE. Now the jellyfin is running well. But I am still receiving notifications from the system, there's a container waiting for update. So how can I solve it? Maybe someways to find the losing configuration or recreate it?

Can UNRAID only cache small files in folders?
I found out that I made a mistake, I should have set the shared folder to "YES" from the beginning. I tried it according to the method mentioned in this post, and set the ignore file type in Mover Tuning to: Then set the shared folder to “Prefer”, tried it and found that the video file was not filtered, and it was also moved to the cache. After looking at the contents of the files in the cache, I found that I just copied the files on the array to the cache again. I originally wanted to filter out all other non-video files directly in Krusader and copy them to the cache. But I don't know how to create the corresponding folder hierarchy by the way when the files in the filtered results are copied to the cache. So by manually copying the folder to the cache, every time a part is copied, all the video files are deleted from the cache, and then the next batch of files is copied. (It’s a stupid way, and I don’t know if there is any more labor-saving way) But after all, it can be used, and Jellyfin's posters are loaded much faster, and the problem of needing to refresh the page if the posters cannot be loaded is also solved.
