  1. Unfortunately no. In my hunt for a solution I read that the Unraid OS implementation of networking for Docker has some bugs, so I gave up thinking I could find a solution. Sad to say I now have a completely separate machine running PiVPN as a Wireguard VPN server (i.e., https://adamtheautomator.com/wireguard-raspberry-pi/ )
  2. Unfortunately I was not able to find a solution. In another thread I saw there is a known bug with Unraid's networking when the "Host access to custom networks" is enabled. I think the combination of using Wireguard, Host access to custom networks, and Docker makes the bug surface and breaks the Unraid network settings. I ended up setting up a Raspberry Pi as a Wireguard server and it has been absolutely rock solid since day 1. Quite impressive actually. Hopefully Unraid fixes its networking bugs so that Wireguard works, because it seems to be super efficient (when it works).
  3. Yes, I even did it a few times to make sure I hadn't mis-clicked. Also rebooted the VM to see if that would help, but still doesn't work.
  4. Hi, I am having the same problem, it works on Windows 10, but not on Windows 11. Did you ever find a solution to get it working on Windows 11 as well? Thank you!
  5. Hi, I am trying to setup the last option in the list above for 'Complex Networks': "With "Use NAT" = No and "Host access to custom networks" = enabled and static route --server and dockers on bridge/host - accessible! --VMs and other systems on LAN - accessible! --dockers with custom IP - accessible! (woohoo! the recommended setup for complex networks)" I have tried the following settings: -WireGuard 'Local server uses NAT' = No -Docker 'Host access to custom networks' = Enabled -static route on my router 10.253.0.0/24 to IP_of_Unraid_machine with the above, when I connect my mobile device (on cellular network) to WireGuard, I get access to other machines on my LAN, and to Unraid Docker containers with custom IPs. But I don't have access to the WAN. A traceroute on my mobile device stops at my router and doesn't make it out to the WAN, even if I try to access a website by URI (i.e., 172.217.1.14 for google.com ) I then tried the following settings (which corresponds to the second entry in the list from 'Complex Networks'): -WireGuard 'Local server uses NAT' = Yes (only change compared to above) -Docker 'Host access to custom networks' = Enabled -static route on my router 10.253.0.0/24 to IP_of_Unraid_machine with the above, when I connect my mobile device (on cellular network) to WireGuard, I get access to other machines on my LAN, and to Unraid Docker containers with custom IPs, and now I also get access to the WAN. I am left scratching my head why my setup works with the opposite 'Local server uses NAT' setting compared to the quickstart guide? The guide says I should leave the 'Local server uses NAT' set to 'No', but when I do that I lose access to the WAN. When I leave 'Local server uses NAT' set to 'Yes', then I get access to everything LAN, Docker containers with custom IPs, and the WAN, but the quickstart guide specifically indicates these settings should not work this way. Am I missing something obvious here? Will having 'Local server uses NAT' set to 'Yes' create problems down the road for me? Very confused, thank you for any insight you can provide!
  6. Hi, According to the 'Complex Networks' section here: there are specific combinations of Docker 'Host access to custom networks' and WireGuard 'Local server uses NAT' that should work or not work (screenshot below). I am trying to setup the last option in the list above: "With "Use NAT" = No and "Host access to custom networks" = enabled and static route --server and dockers on bridge/host - accessible! --VMs and other systems on LAN - accessible! --dockers with custom IP - accessible! 7. Thank you for the reply! Would you be able to confirm that you are running the same version of Safari as me: Version 16.1 (18614.2.9.1.12). I don't know if the OS version matters also, but I am on MacOS Ventura 13.0 (22A380). Hopefully the code change tried by the other user with the same issue successfully resolves the problem. Thanks again!
  8. UNABLE TO ACCESS 'APPS' PAGE WHEN USING SAFARI WEB BROWSER, FREEZES, DOES NOT LOAD Unraid version 6.11.5 When using Safari (Version 16.1 (18614.2.9.1.12)) on MacOS (Ventura 13.0 (22A380)), I can log into my Unraid server webpage and access all of the tabs, except for the 'APPS'. When I click on the 'APPS', the page starts to load, the orange wavey-bar in the middle starts to move up-and-down, but then it freezes before loading any apps (see screenshot attached). The entire browser tab becomes unresponsive and I cannot switch to a different view of my Unraid server (i.e., 'MAIN', 'SHARES', 'USERS', etc). I need to close my Safari tab and start a new one to be able to access the Unraid web page again. The same problem happens in a private browsing session with no extensions/add-ons (no ad-blocker). When I google this problem I find posts of Reddit of people with the similar problem when using the Safari web browser on a Mac, but no solutions. The 'APPS' page works perfectly when using a different web browser (Chrome, Firefox) on the same Mac computer that freezes in Safari. Any chance someone has a solution to this issue? Thank you very much!

  10. Thank you very much for the guidance, I have created a new post where you suggested.
  11. Hello, I am experiencing the exact same issue. I realize this is a very old thread. Did you ever find a solution? Thank you very much!
  12. Hi, My apologies if I am posting in the wrong place, I am new to this forum and still figuring it out. My setup: -Unraid v6.11.5, fixed IP 192.168.1.111 -activated a Wireguard VPN in the built-in 'Settings', 'VPN Manager' -pihole docker installed using network 'Custom : br0' (was one of the pre-existing options, I did not create it), and a fixed IP 192.168.1.112 Behaviour: -when I am on my local network, I am able to connect to the Unraid GUI by going to 192.168.1.111 -when I am on my local network, I am able to connect to the pihole GUI admin page by going to 192.168.1.112 -when I am on another network and make a Wireguard connection, I am able to connect to the Unraid GUI by going to 192.168.1.111 -when I am on another network and make a Wireguard connection, I am not able to connect to the pihole GUI admin page by going to 192.168.1.112, instead I get a 'page not found' error From watching I think that the problem is the Unraid built-in Wireguard VPN server does not know how to access the Docker br0 network IP address 192.168.1.112 of the pihole container. I don't know how to fix this problem (if that is actually the problem), and I thought I would ask here for help before I start trying to figure out IPVLANs and static routes (if that might solve my current problem). Thank you very much for the help! Edit: I followed the instructions for 'Complex Network' from here ( ), and now I have a new problem. Current behaviour: -connection from another network by WireGuard allows me to access the Unraid server, and the Docker containers (wasn't able to do this earlier, so this problem appears fixed with the instructions at the above link), but now there is a new problem: --I cannot access outside (WAN) addresses, I am limited to only being able to access LAN addresses. Banging my head against a wall here, hopefully someone has a solution? Thank you a million!
