  1. Recently bought a EVGA GTX 750Ti($168 CAN after mail-in) but there is a sale ending tomorrow for the same but in a 960 OC edition for $60 more ($228 after mail-in). Will I see any big difference when paired with a i5 4670 using 2 cores or at this point does the CPU become the bottleneck and thus not worth the upgrade? Kryspy
  2. Have a Windows 10 VM all set and working for Steam gaming. Problem is I have an old 19" LCD monitor hooked up to it for setup that does not support this resolution. RDP session does not allow Nvidia Control panel access. How can I force 1920x1080 as that is what my plasma is? Kryspy
  3. Well Ive played with it a whole 5 minutes today Seems pretty straight forward. Kryspy
  4. To update my own thread. It seems the audio lag was with the kinoconsole app. I invested in a Steam Link and controller. Seems okay now. Krispy
  5. Still no audio through the Zotac 730. Another video card perhaps? Did the MSI fix but didn't help. Audio shows up in device manager but still an X through audio devices in the task bar. Kryspy
  6. I was reading about that and assumed it didn't apply. I'll give it a look in the morning. Kryspy
  7. Hi, A bit green here with KVM. Set up a Windows 10 VM with a Zotac 730 PCI-e video card. Only sound I can get to work is the motherboards built-in sound. Problem is the sound lags after a bit while playing through STEAM. A reboot clears things up until it starts to lag again. I am using the Kinoconsole app on the Apple TV 4. Sound issue isn't with this app. Any ideas? Anyway to enable the video cards sound instead? Thanks in advance, Krispy
  8. Got a Windows 10 VM up with Steam installed and the KinoServer. Seems to work fine. Didn't invest a ton of money in a video card. Purchased a Zotac 730; seems to do the trick for less than $100. Works fine as far as I can tell. Have to get the video card to output 1920x1080 still. Kryspy
  9. jonp, Supports any PC game. Kryspy
  10. Just installed Steam and the PC Server as well. Played FEZ easily over a wired connection with the KinoConsole client installed on the Apple TV. Krispy
  11. Just found about this -->http://kinoconsole.kinoni.com/#server Install server end on a PC and client end on the Apple TV 4 (or iPhone / iPad etc). Client end is available in the APP store on the Apple TV 4. Might be worth setting up a Windows 10 VM now Kryspy
  12. This looks interesting, Need to play some Time Pilot and Mr. Do! Kryspy
  13. I bought a set of 7.1 speakers from Best Buy up here in Canada over 10 years ago. They are Sony but look like Polk Audio in shape. Have since replaced the sub with a polk audio sub. I paid $375 for the speaker set initially on a 50% off sale. Sound is incredible for satellite speakers. Kryspy
  14. Thanks both of you. According to the logs the no-ip docker seems to be doing its job. I was paying $5 a month for a static IP. Just wanted to save $5 to use elsewhere Kryspy
  15. Apple AirPort Extreme Kryspy
  16. Having used OpenMediaVault and plain vanilla Ubuntu Server. I can yell you that unRaid is a truly set it and forget it setup. Docker is awesome. OMV and Ubuntu give you the option of using SnapRAID for reduncy but isn't in real time. You do a parity calculation at a set period; daily, hourly etc. OMV interface is a bit archaic for my liking. Ubuntu is relatively non-existent for a reliable frontend. Kryspy
  17. Love my Yamaha RX-V675. I've owned Harmon Kardon in the past before they got pretty and started to cheap out and Pioneer Elite as well. I find the Yamahas to be a clearer cleaner sound. But thats my opinion. Krispy
  18. To answer my own question I just added the no-ip docker and created a free account. Will see how it goes. Kryspy
  19. I subscribe to Unotelly as my US masking service up here in Canada. On there website they have a cron script to run. Can I just add it to Go file to update say every 12 hours? Kryspy
  20. I quickly cobbled this together with an image I found online. Kryspy
  21. AirSonos is a service that runs and adds a SONOS as a AirPlay receiver. Easy enough to run but appears to require a port range forwarding of 5000-5050 over TCP. DockerHub: https://hub.docker.com/r/justintime/airsonos/ *** Actually working fine now from my iMac. From iOS is a no go but at least it works. Set it as your output device in preferences and load up iTunes. *** Kryspy
  22. I was under the impression previously we could expand but not shrink a docker image file without deleting it first?!? Kryspy
  23. Okay I am a bit of a dumbass here. Solved the issue I was having which should have been obvious to me. Simple copy the .ui_info from your crashplan docker to the empty "ID" directory of the crashplan-desktop docker. Kryspy
  24. I can never get the Crashpla-desktop to work. I have CORD running in OSX and it loads the rdp session and crashplan logo is showing but never does anything just hangs ?!? Kryspy
