There has been a request to do a split of region in the Buy, Sell, Trade area. For that to happen it would be rather difficult with all the various regions. In order to insure items are easy idenfitied for your intrest the following could be implimented for easier idenfication. For Example you could tag your posts in the following manner. 1. Status: [SOLD], [WTB], [4Sale] or [4Trade] 2. Location: [Canada-Toronto], [uK-London], [uS-California] 3. Shipping: [Free Shipping], [Pickup only] optional obvisously 4. Item listing Motherboard, Hard drive.................... [4Sale] [Canada-Toronto] Intel 100meg nic When an item is sold it is recommended you change the Status to [SOLD] The above are suggestions to help others find/sell their items easier and hopefully to keep the need for several sub-forums for now.

You can count on it. Yes. And all the support issues when someone does it wrong. What if by default you make it /mnt/disks but if the user goes into settings and turns on "advanced mounting" they then have the option to use /mnt/ but it still forces the user to use /mnt/ (that way if someone does pick "extra" as there share name it would force it to /mnt/extra) That should prevent most issues. And as well a note saying something to the fact. "Incorrect Mounting can.............."

Well in that case do what you think is right and I'll adapt. I just like the ability to mount and treat it like a share so everything in my network can seemlessly see the device opposed to having to remap everything because its not treated like a share mapping to /mnt/user/ However like I said that's just me and I'll figure out a plan B for the greater good.

or can you let us know how to get around the disks limitation or like mentioned limit us to only /mnt/ I've had an instance when I mounted mine to /mnt/user/ because of what I was doing at that time, but typically I do mount to /mnt/disks/ Options are always nice, but I do think /mnt/ unless your worried somebody is going to mess up disk shares some how with the incorrect mounting.

I think it should be a core tool as well, but on the flip side as a Plugin we get constant updates.

If your talking about when you run balance on a drive to other drives yes there is a setting. If you want something to automagically keep drives at a speficed limit in unRAID that isn't currently available. I updated my Plugin and stop/started the newest build to get the settings to show. Reserving space is already included in this plugin. I requested it a while back and the author implemented it already. If you check settings you will see a 450Meg setting. Thats the setting you adjust. Please ignore me. Wrong thread.

Every time I try to remove Dynamix System Statistics even thou its an awesome looking Plugin, I just don't honestly need to use it all the time. I get this same message that repeats over and over in my logs. I found the cron entry in /etc/cron.d/root */1 * * * * /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.system.stats/scripts/sa1 1 1 &> /dev/null I removed it I still keep getting that error message. Am I missing something some where else?

This same thing happened to me when I was trying to preclear using the preclear script on my AOC-SAS2LP-MV8 My Flash went bonkers with what appeared to be millions of reads/writes Well in all fairness I did find out my motherboard seemed to be having issues and as well I replaced my PowerSupply. I'm to chicken to try it again on my production server. lol

Exactly. I'd rather copy then delete. It ran then timed out or something and I noticed I had dupes when i looked in my shares folder. I had several folders worth and thought that was odd behavior. It's like it never came back and deleted, but then I realized it wasn't doing anything at all any more. Not a serious big deal, but thought it was odd since its worked flawlessly all weekend.

Another silly question. Does it copy first then Delete? I noticed earlier I had two of the same files on two different shares. The plugin timed out or something and I simply deleted the dupes.

Another silly question I have is I told it to move a drive and selected all the available drives. The folder was my tv show folder with 1.1 TB of files. It was composed of the following structure. TV/Shows/BreakingBad/Season1 It kept telling me there wasn't enough room when between all my drives I had at least 2.59TB This was before 1.30. I have all drives setup as TV included shares and HighWater. Ok it appears if I pick TV/Shows opposed to TV it seems to not complain. lol

It either showed up after rebooting or starting stopping the plugin. Its there for me now.

How do you set the Reserved Space? I can't seem to find an option for it anywhere.

Lol, Your very welcome. Its kinda why I avoided this script for a while because I was trying to balance my server and thought how dumb is this script? Now I totally see the brilliance of it.

It doesn't per say Balance the discs. It takes everything off a Disk and spreads it amoung your other discs to clear the selected disk. For Example. I'm trying to remove all files off my Disk4 to I can format it to XFS. I selected all the shares I want moved on a particular disk in settings then to Home and clicked all the drives I want it to populate then the Calculate button to make sure it has room amoung all the discs. Click Move and it rips along. Remember its called UnBalance, not Balance.

Thanks. I'm running it now to move some stuff around to aid in my quest to format some drives to XFS. I was at first a bit skeptical, but I must say its working great. Talk about a serious time saver Time/Patience Saver One thing that threw me off and its not a complaint just for anybody who didn't catch it. My Google Chrome Browser locked up and I thought oh great files moving and now I can't stop it. Glad it runs in the background and a browser refresh simply shows you progress and nothing do with the actual moving of data. Brilliant script

I was just playing with this. It would be really nice if we could set a reserve space for instance 5% or 10% from full or whatever the user deems necessary. Kinda slick too. I've been running dry runs for the heck of it.
