I know docker created those names. We suspect someone has hacked the user and created a docker on their machine, likely crypto mining or some such. Other cases of that and even worse happening to new users lately, hence the link Squid posted above.

    Need to run

    Quote

    docker ps -a

to get the image name that the container is using and find out where the image is coming from and what it is.

i've been using this deluge docker for years now with the same mountings.

If I download something to the docker.img, than it would show in 2 seconds. I usually download 5-10-100gig torrents.

I checked the log size with a 'user script', which i found on this forum on a similiar topic. written by Squid I guess. it showed 500mb log after a 3 days uptime. i forced updated the image (auto update is off for deluge for me), than 1 min later, the script said my log is a few kb only.

since i updated deluge (few weeks ago), i regularly see higher than normal cpu usage on deluge, deluge-web as well. (and i guess it's normal, that if I update deluge docker, my webui password resets, right)

I think I didn't change any settings about logs, but the 6 month old build didn't have this issue.

If I get home, I will send you the mountings, but they are fine.

how can I even see the actual log files. maybe it would be easier to debug the problem.

    thanks

if your webui password resets when you update the docker image, then i would expect that you're not mounting the config volume locally....

that section is quite useless imho.

I'm not downloading into the docker. something filling it up fast. can't even imagine how can deluge make 500 megs in a few days.

my question is about deluge now, so anyone?

the logs are mounted locally in the volume mount for config, if you're docker.img is filling up then you either are not mounting the config files or the image is downloading into the image file.

on a side note, if your image is filling up when the docker log is ~500 mb , you have bigger problems and need to expand the size of the docker.img.

post screenshots of your volume mountings from the unraid webui and the Downloads section of the webui preferences for deluge itself.

Will we see a unrar version bump from 5.6 beta 4 to 5.6 beta 1 ?

    5.6 beta 1 fixes a nasty bugs:

    b) memory management bug in the password dialog could lead to access to already freed memory followed by crash. This issue may be also associated with security risks;

    c) fixed a crash when processing corrupt RAR archives. This issue may be also associated with security risks;

i'm really confused what you're asking for here.

you say an update from 5.6 beta 4 to 5.6 beta 1, that's going backwards surely ?

Updated this docker and experiencing lots of problems now. WebUI shows speeds as 'udnefined', and lots of stuff (eg, torrent name, size, etc) are all blank.

Removed the docker/reinstalled, Tried again with additional step of deleting all appdata for qbittorrent, problem persists... Not sure what else to do.

Is there a way to weigh the results from jackett?

For example.. I've got a private tracker, I would want that preferred over a public tracker..

    Private-ShownameEp1 - 10 seeders - weight 10+1(1 being my preferred number)

    vs

    Public-ShownameEp1 - 2 seeders - weight 2+0

Does this make sense or am I just asking in a profoundly stupid way?😕

I know theres already ways to prefer those with a minimum limit of seeders, but what about prioritizing results from A(priv) vs B(pub) ?

you need to ask this on the jackett github page.

we don't make the app itself, we just package it in a docker image.

No need to apologize, I appreciate the help. I need to figure out a solution to this.

It's not that I'm limiting bandwidth, I'm just using pfsense to route all traffic for a specific IP through my VPN. So the qBittorrent docker needs to be on a separate IP, but also use the port I want. Is there any way I can achieve this?

I think you may be able to change the port by looking at

    /config/qBittorrent/qBittorrent.conf

    and specifically the line

    Connection\PortRangeMin=6881

What is gained by updating the docker container if we updated Nextcloud through its GUI?

The underlying image should be updated, at the very minimum whenever an update nextcloud is released and preferably more regularlry.

In the case of version changes to nextcloud, there may be changed/additional dependencies. On the subject of more regular refreshes, if there is a security issue with one of the dependencies or an update to say nginx or php for example, just updating the app in an existing container will not pick those up.

SO I am trying to change the rtorrent.rc file with the patch required as of latest version, but I can read BUT NOT WRITE to my appdata share.

I've tried AFP, I've tried SMB, A mac and a PC, all of which cannot write to appdata share, even though they have read/write permissions.

HOW am I supposed to do the edit if I can't write to my share?! I KNOW NO OTHER WAY THAN TO PULL IT TO MY MAC/PC, DO THE CHANGES THERE, THEN WRITE THE MODIFIED FILE TO THE APPDATA SHARE!

    PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

if you can't write to the appdata share, you either have local drive issues or permissions are wrong.

Updated mine today and now doesn't work anymore.

No connection to rTorrent. Check if it is really running. Check $scgi_port and $scgi_host settings in config.php and scgi_port in rTorrent configuration file.

I've tried last backup of appdata config but with no success.

Just added note to the first post on how to resolve this.
