  1. Thanks so much for your response. I found that deluge was misconfigured and was the culprit. I reconfigured it and deleted the docker and rebuilt it, and the space allocated to deluge is acceptable now. So my question is, where did all the old files go?
  2. Over the past few weeks, certain apps just would shut down, and then i noticed that my docker was filling up. Attached is a diagnostic before I rebuilt it, and even after, it seems to be not working properly and still filling up. Please advise on what I should do. Thanks in advance for your help. tartaros-diagnostics-20211229-1405.zip
  3. Hi Team, For some reason, my indexers keep becoming unavailable on Radarr and Sonarr. When I go to settings, and just test the connection, it says testing succeeded and the error goes away, but comes back pretty soon afterwards. I don't change any settings when the error disappears, i just force it to test the connection. Please advise. I've attached a diagnostic. Thanks. tartaros-diagnostics-20201108-1102.zip
  4. Ok, so i re-added a lot of my previous docker, and now i'm getting filled up with "Docker high image disk utilization" messages. I attached a diagnostic. tartaros-diagnostics-20190309-2250.zip
  5. Diag is attached. One thing, i didn't reinstall all of my previous dockers. I only installed a few to see if my crashing dockers would improve. I am still having issues with PlexMediaServer, which seems to just stop when i think i'm trying to stream higher resolution media (i believe). tartaros-diagnostics-20190308-2357.zip

  9. There is a user share called "?". I'm not sure what it is. Should i just remove it ?
  10. My view is already on Basic view. Also, my docker image seems to be in the wrong place Docker version: 18.06.3-ce Docker vDisk location: /mnt/disk12/system/docker/docker.img Default appdata storage location: /mnt/user/appdata/ Docker LOG rotation: Disabled Preserve user defined networks: Yes I'm not sure how it got there, or how to move it to my usb ?
  11. I have these issues where my docker seems to be hanging periodically, and then i have to disable/re-enable docker and sometimes reload it. Attached are my diagnostics. Is something mis-configured? Thanks in advance for your help. tartaros-diagnostics-20190301-0131.zip
  12. @johnnie.black thanks. that fixed it. can you please tell me how you determined that ?
  13. I removed one drive that having some errors. rebuilt parity, and brought the array back online. my docker configs are missing or moved or something. ive attached a diagnostic file. Please help. Thanks. tartaros-diagnostics-20190105-0314.zip
  14. i can't seem to get to the GUI. the only GUI i have is the unMenu. which tells me the following. Unfortunately, it is not possible to start the unRAID array in the unMENU interface. Please use the "Start" button on the Lime-Technology supplied management web-page to restart the array.
  15. Mar 31 14:59:56 Tartaros emhttp: unRAID System Management Utility version 5.0-rc12a My array was shutdown abruptly, and i haven't been able to get it restarted. i'm attaching the syslog data. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. syslog-2018-03-31.txt
  16. garycase, seriously.. you are my Godsend.. I enabled the cache drive in the 'settings' and i went through each drive trying to make sure that there wasn't an 'enable cache drive' setting under each one. the one thing i did not check was the share itself. thank you so much! it works now.
  17. I added a cache drive to my existing system, and it doesn't seem to be doing anything. I tried copying about 30gb of data to the unraid machine, and i didn't see any writes to the cache. I could see writes to the parity and the data drive, that's about it. I tried rebooting the machine, no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  18. Thanks for the feedback. How do you determine the cpu required for X number of streams?

    Upgrade?

First, I wanted to sincerely thank everyone for their help. Without it, I am sure I wouldn't have been able to get this rig up and and running. Second, I am thinking about running some other services on this server such as : 1. Sickbeard 2. NZBGet 3. Couch Potato 4. Headphones 5. Plex Media Server It seems when I try to run Plex and some of the other services, it seems I'm pushing the server a bit hard. My build has an i3-3220 with 8 GB of (KVR1333D3E9SK2) RAM. Currently, I have 9 data drives (mixed size) and 1 parity. I have not installed a cache drive yet. I wanted to see if there are any suggestions the community may have so that this build can handle the load. Upgrade the cpu? memory? add a cache drive? Thanks in advance.
  20. Fair enough, so how do I power them? Is there an adapter I need to buy?
  21. Another question, i'm trying to hook up all the fans that came with the antec 1200 case, and i've notice that i'm taking out 2 in the front so i could put in the hard drive cages, which i'm hoping doesn't cause some cooling issue down the line. Also, the other fans other than the cpu fan have 3 pin female connecters and the connectors on the motherboard seem to be 4 pin connectors. do i just use 3 of 4 ? this is for the MBD-X9SCM-F-O supermicro motherboard. thanks as always.
  22. Thanks for the info. I will grab a kill a watt since I've heard a lot of references to that over the boards. As far as the error, i was using putty, but i'm wondering if something is wrong with the new drives i installed (2x 320 GB, and a 1x 1TB). I believe the first two are pretty old, as in 2005 timeframe. The reason i'm suspecting this is a. the 'crash' which produced the error i posted and the freezing of the system which required a reboot has only happened once, which is after these drives were put in. It has not happened again since I originally posted it b. while trying to copy a bunch of data from some other external drives, the whole array becomes unavailable. I'm wondering if these drives are going to sleep or what. also another question, i noticed while i was trying to troubleshoot the 'crash', that there were basically no syslog data, and it only kept everything since i booted it back up (i had to power cycle the box). is there a way to configure this to save this data and roll the logs, gzip/tar them, etc. so that i can go back for historical data. thanks.
  23. Gary, thanks for the constant feedback. This has greatly helped. a few more questions 1. for the UPS, is it ok that it is lower wattage than the power supply on the computer? I have a 650w on the tower, and i think the first UPS in your links was 450W. 2. I had the following error, at the time, two things were going on. (a. two drives were being precleared, b. i was moving over data from elsewhere on the network).. Any ideas on what caused it, how to prevent it, is there something i should be worried about ? 1897841061888 bytes (1.9 TB) copied, 13944.7 s, 136 MB/s Wrote 1,897,841,061,888 bytes out of 3,000,592,982,016 bytes (63% Done) Message from syslogd@Tartaros at Sat Jun 1 05:37:44 2013 ... 24. Oddly, enough it just started working. Everything is on the same workgroup, and you are right I should change it off default. Another question, as far as a UPS for this, any recommendations on brand, size, etc. Thanks.
  25. I went to Settings in the main unRAID Menu. - SMB Enable SMB -> Yes (Workgroup) Workgroup -> WORKGROUP Local Master -> Yes
