Unraid v7.3.0 internal boot stuck at waiting up to 30 seconds for device with label UNRAID to come online
Hi, I upgraded to Unraid v7.3.0 which works fine on my old USB 2.0 stick. I saw internal boot was available, knowing I had an old Kingston SSD (which was used for TrueNas before) lying around I wanted to use it as the USB 2.0 stick feels very slow. Everything went smooth, setting up internal boot through the wizard went fine, no issues only that the wizard couldn't change my boot settings (which makes sense as i'm using a pretty old machine here, hoping to update to a better system in the near future). When booting from SSD I get the message -> waiting up to 30 seconds for device with label UNRAID to come online Switching back to USB it boots up fine. My specs: Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS III GENE CPU: I5 750 Memory: 16gb DDR3 Video card: Nvidia GTX 200

passthrough unmounted linux_raid_member to Ubuntu VM
@ghost82 Thanks for the reply! In the end I ended up running Ubuntu from a USB drive and got the data from the drive through that but this works awesome as well.

passthrough unmounted linux_raid_member to Ubuntu VM
I don’t have the space for an image unfortunately, so how do I passthrough the drive to my Ubuntu VM?

passthrough unmounted linux_raid_member to Ubuntu VM
Hi, My parents IX4-300d NAS died and I'm trying to recover data from it through my unraid NAS. I only have a macbook so I can't really connect it to something else. The drive is recognized but unmountable due to linux_raid_member. Now I've read the forums and a VM with Ubuntu. So I installed Ubuntu on a VM but I can't seem to figure out how to passthrough the unmounted disk to the VM. I read something about using the ata-id method and tried to find a spaceinvaderone video containing this method but I can't seem to find it. I've attached a screenshot of the unassigned disks. Can someone help me out?
