  1. So I have this in the SMB Extras field [izzyZFS] path = /mnt/Main Pool/Main Storage browseable = yes guest ok = no writeable = yes read only = no create mask = 0775 directory mask = 0775 write list = izzy valid users = izzy The share shows up in windows explorer But when I go to the server but when I try to access it (using the username and password for the "izzy" account) I get this error message. Is there something else I'm missing?
  2. I am on Unraid 6.11.5 and I see where to add to SMB extras. I just don't know what lines I need to add to SMB-extras to make it work
  3. Hello I imported a ZFS pool and dataset from a previous system. My pool and dataset are showing up when I type "ZFS list" and "zpool status" How do I make a samba share to access it through windows with the basic user I set up. Sorry if this has already been asked but I can not find an answer. I am very much a noob so a detailed instructions/explanation would be appreciated.
  4. Hello I just migrated from TrueNAS Core to Unraid. I'm trying to get my existing ZFS Pool/Dataset imported. I created a simple array with only my 120gb ssd (from what I read I need to have a normal array present on my machine) I installed the ZFS plugin, ZFS companion, Unassigned Devices, and Unassigned Devices Plus plugins I went into the terminal and did "zpool import POOLNAME" I'm not sure how to get this pool accessible via smb now. The post I'm reading telling me how to import the pool said somthing about SMB Extras settings to make it accessible as an SMB share but didn't say exactly how to do so. Is this correct? Do I need to add a Samba extra configuration, and what is it that I need to add to the configuration. Also is the best current way to import an existing ZFS Pool, or is there a better modern method I should be using instead. Thanks, Izzy : )
