Connecting to SMB share via Rescuezilla. How do you properly fill in/format the UNC path
Hello. I am trying to use Rescuezilla to clone some old drives I have and I want to clone the images to a share on my unraid server. I am having trouble figuring out the proper way to fill in the information needed to connect. I am trying to go to an smb share called images. I am using the same username and password that I am able to use to connect to smb on my windows systems. I honestly have no idea what the Domain field is and if that should be left blank, or if there's something specific I need to put in there, same for version of smb (I've been keeping it on default, Negotiate highest SMB2+ supported by client and server) For the UNC path I have tried /10.0.0.50/images as well as /10.0.0.50/mnt/user/images and a few other variations. Honestly I'm just trying things because I have no idea how this field should be formatted and what stuff goes where. I have only connected to my smb shares on windows where they automatically show up and I don't need to type out the exact info. So if someone could tell me exactly how this all needs to be formatted that would be great. I am a complete beginner when it comes to SMB shares and stuff so I don't really know what I'm doing, so I'm probably missing something that would seem obvious to most. I also tried NFS but also couldn't figure out what to put in the Server and Exported path fields. If NFS is easier than SMB I can do that to. I just again don't know what to input to get to my unraid's images share.

ZFS plugin for unRAID
So I have this in the SMB Extras field [izzyZFS] path = /mnt/Main Pool/Main Storage browseable = yes guest ok = no writeable = yes read only = no create mask = 0775 directory mask = 0775 write list = izzy valid users = izzy The share shows up in windows explorer But when I go to the server but when I try to access it (using the username and password for the "izzy" account) I get this error message. Is there something else I'm missing?

ZFS plugin for unRAID
I am on Unraid 6.11.5 and I see where to add to SMB extras. I just don't know what lines I need to add to SMB-extras to make it work

ZFS plugin for unRAID
Hello I imported a ZFS pool and dataset from a previous system. My pool and dataset are showing up when I type "ZFS list" and "zpool status" How do I make a samba share to access it through windows with the basic user I set up. Sorry if this has already been asked but I can not find an answer. I am very much a noob so a detailed instructions/explanation would be appreciated.

How do I make ZFS pool accesable via smb.
Hello I just migrated from TrueNAS Core to Unraid. I'm trying to get my existing ZFS Pool/Dataset imported. I created a simple array with only my 120gb ssd (from what I read I need to have a normal array present on my machine) I installed the ZFS plugin, ZFS companion, Unassigned Devices, and Unassigned Devices Plus plugins I went into the terminal and did "zpool import POOLNAME" I'm not sure how to get this pool accessible via smb now. The post I'm reading telling me how to import the pool said somthing about SMB Extras settings to make it accessible as an SMB share but didn't say exactly how to do so. Is this correct? Do I need to add a Samba extra configuration, and what is it that I need to add to the configuration. Also is the best current way to import an existing ZFS Pool, or is there a better modern method I should be using instead. Thanks, Izzy : )
