Im trying to create a backup because my current USB drive is failing after over a decade...who would have thought...I went to the main page then clicked on the flash drive and downloaded a backup zip file. Then I downloaded the Unraid USB creator tool. On one computer it would never complete the process. On another computer it instanly finishes it but the only folder there and its empty is "syslinux" any help please? I dont think a log is necessary but let me know if needed. Thanks

running the risk at being wrong because that link talked about two things even though one was specifically saying docker command ill post both ha ha.. but it is working as of right now since we deleted app data and reinstalled the docker. i dont know if you caught that or if you requested this info for something else. thanks!!!

Well i reinstalled plex and i rebooted the server and so far so good. feel like all this work was in vain...sorry everyone. Strange it happened to me and a few other people at the same time and all i did was reboot the server... thanks again everyone for all your help. i hope it just keeps working!

i was just deleting through windows. thanks for the info and thanks for the commands to delete it. its all gone now...ill try to start over

i uninstalled the docker and im deleting plex out of my appdata folder...there was 90k files that it had to delete but the problem is that its not deleting all of them. how can i force a delete of those files? thanks

short history is im new to dockers. i had plex installed as a plugin and I couldnt get it to stay connected when i rebooted my server. so someone suggested installing as a docker and i did that and it was streaming through roku and apple tv and all seemed well. So i decided to reboot the server to make sure it stayed connected and thats when i couldnt stream anymore. so there werent any changes made prior to rebooting the server (that i can think of. i dont believe i would have changed anything because it was working). I have removed the docker and added it again. but i did not remove app data files. i think this is the next logical step to remove and remove app data folder. thank you. alright that sounds good. thank you very much for the info.

tried a force update and same issue...thanks anyways Im not sure what id like to do either ha ha. im just trying suggestions to get this to work. how much ram would you recommend for doing the transcoding? Im going to get an ssd cache drive soon but cant right now. do you have any suggestions that I could try to get my plex working again? Thanks

ok was just weird it happened right after i rebooted the server

i didnt clear appdata folder or anything but i removed the docker and set back up but same issue

i rebooted my unraid server and now i cant stream. If i try to stream through the browser I get "shaka1001" network error if i try from apple tv it says cannot create a playback session. from the roku it says "not enough bandwith for any playback..."

i think you are correct thanks. I just assumed it worked for movies and tv would be media also so figured it would work. thanks! I do not have any other dockers. not sure i need any others that i know of? but you are correct i really do need to understand the volume mapping. thanks again!

hopefully this tells you something but I wonder if the logs would clear out after having to re-setup the docker?

alright alright i failed. Im able to get my movies added to the library but when i try the same steps for television it crashes the entire docker. i go to add another path and i name it television then i put /media for container just like i did for my movies. then the host path i navigate to my TV folder and apply and thats when the command failes and goes crazy
