Hello, I have added drives and after some fuss configuring 520 --> 512 sector size and other hurdles, I realized that the Disk location is "stuck" and unable to update. Some tabs are missing and I can basically only view the pane. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, and not sure where to blow out the files to start over from scratch. any help is appreciated! EDIT: latest OS, And SW.

howdy y'all. this is the second time i've seen this error when configuring and messing with my server. I really think its due to the NVIDIA driver update i tried to do as the last time the server was running I had reboot for NVIDIA driver to take affect. I really don't want to lose any information on this and so im really asking for any help or suggestions as my UNRAID connect backup is from all the way back to 7/12.. i don't think i've changed a whole lot since then config wise but my array has added more files.. does that matter? i've read to just reload the USB drive.. (last time this happened that fixed it) but im weary of losing any data so im reaching out for more detailed suggestions or instructions so my clumbsy ass doesn't mess this up. attached photo is CLI where i am stuck and even when i run UNRAID safe mood with GUI

Hello everyone, I have a strange issue with some of my shares. it a problem I've been trying to track down for a bit. I've noticed that some of my shares are "unprotected" when they are in fact the same setup as a protected share.. i have done the mover countless times to try and clear that CACHE files but it doesn't seem to move.. is that the issue?

UPDATE, IT APPEARS TO BE WORKING NOW.

I have toggled the export share option a few times, and tried the New Permissions on a share to see if that did anything. I have confirmed that my android phone can connect to the shares (with no login) via an app called file manager. so I think it's possibly a windows/unraid thing at this point.

Just to give a little more background, everything worked perfectly and i started to tinker more and the OS hung up. so i rebooted, and it was stuck on "bz checksum error" so after half a dozen attempts i just threw caution to the wind and pulled the USB stick to reimage a new Unraid copy. that booted up and i was soon able to claim/and rebuild my server. i was missing apps and after setting up stuff again i realized that I no longer have access to the shares via windows. so my question is.. does this array that am using have any specific ties ot the older instance of unraid i was running? i'm sorry im not a software guy at all and basically follow guides when needed to get into customizing this stuff. hopefully that makes sense and i can get some ideas what to do,.. or if i need to just blow this thing fully up and start from scratch..' any help is greatly appreciated!!!
