Exclusive Access - 6.12 - ZFS
I installed Unraid 6.12 here is an exclusive access option for shares. Previously I was on a 6.12RC version and the option was there as well but I didn't enable at the time my share was created. Since I'm completely on ZFS I would like to take advantage of this capability, but it's greyed out on the share. Is there a way I can enable this without losing my data? Has anyone ran into this yet? Lastly, I only have a primary ZFS storage defined for the share, no secondary storage.

Attempting to cross flash HP H220 to LSI 9207-8i IT Mode
I actually got it to work with the dos version vs the UEFI. I think I'm good now. FYI if anyone else runs into this, I did not find a UEFI version 14. However, there is a dos version 14, but when you run via command line it shows version 10. It was 100% downloaded in the version 14 package so who knows, but bottom line I finally got it flashed.

Attempting to cross flash HP H220 to LSI 9207-8i IT Mode
I got the card recovered with the HP firmware. Every article mentions using SAS2FLASH version 14, but that version is not available on Broadcom's website. Anyone have a copy of the UEFI version they can share with me?

Attempting to cross flash HP H220 to LSI 9207-8i IT Mode
HBA - H220 with SAS2308_2(D1) controller I've read a ton of things on the forums and I've been at this for hours and not making progress, so I'm hoping someone can help. I downloaded the latest firmware, 20.00.07.00. My card is stuck and I can't do anything at this point. In a UEFI shell, at least I can still see it, but can't apply firmware. I know based on other posts, you need to flash to the latest with version 14 of sas2flash . One issue is version 14 of the UEFI is not available on broadcoms site, it only goes to 15. That being said, I found supposedly version 14 of it from another location on the web, "sas2hax," but I question if it's really version 14 as it shows version 19 when it runs. What I did to get where I'm at. ran sas2flash -o -e 7 sas2flash -f mptsas2.rom also have tried -f with the bin and rom at same time. I keep getting (See screen shots) No compatible NVDATA Image(s) found. Firmware Image Validation Failed! I've also included what the it looked like before I erased the flash. Adapter Selected is a LSI SAS: SAS2308_2(D1) Controller Number : 0 Controller : SAS2308_2(D1) PCI Address : 00:05:00:00 SAS Address : 500605b-0-0507-5fd0 NVDATA Version (Default) : 0d.44.00.01 NVDATA Version (Persistent) : 0d.44.00.01 Firmware Product ID : 0x2214 Firmware Version : 13.00.66.00 NVDATA Vendor : LSI NVDATA Product ID : SAS9207-8i BIOS Version : 07.25.00.00 UEFI BSD Version : N/A FCODE Version : N/A Board Name : H220 Board Assembly : H3-25278-05D Board Tracer Number : SV22626451 Finished Processing Commands Successfully. Exiting SAS2Flash. I have tried various versions and nothing is working. Does anyone know how I might fix this as I've been at it for hours and not really getting anywhere. Your help is appreciated!

SAS Drive type - How to connect/wire
Thank you, learning as I go here :).

SAS Drive type - How to connect/wire
So I'll connect two ports from the HBA to SAS Expander (SFF-8087 to SFF-8087) and then use 2xSFF-8087 to SFF-8482 to the drives from the expander?

SAS Drive type - How to connect/wire
Are all SAS expander cards created equal? With 10 drives, would I need more than one to connect to multiple ports on the SAS card? Maybe 2 cards to keep 5 and 5 on each expander?

SAS Drive type - How to connect/wire
I'm working on purchasing hardware for my first Unraid build. I was getting ready to pull the trigger on 10-14TB drives, but they are Single Port SAS drives only. This is what it says on the website description, "This drive uses Single Port SAS connections and will not work in SATA systems or with Dual Port SAS features." Drive Type: Western Digital Ultrastar DC HC530 WUH721414AL4204 0F31021 14TB 7.2K RPM Single Port SAS 12Gb/s 4Kn 3.5in Hard Drive My question is what do I need to connect these as they are not SATA? I already have a HP H220 (LSI 9207-8i). Would I just purchase a SAS expander card and connect to the H220 and then from there purchase 1:1 SAS cables connecting from the expander card to drive? What type of expander card would be best for this configuration if this is the proper configuration? Is this a potential bad setup and I shouldn't be looking at these drives? The price is right, so if I can make it work with an expander card, then I'll probably pull the trigger.
