Cache drive read only
So possibly the drive is going bad. I’ll need to look at buying a new one. As for a posibility of hardware and kernel would updating to the latest stable version be advisable to eliminate that as a factor?

Cache drive read only
I’ve no idea what has caused this. I’ve seen some posts else where saying btrfs might be the cause of this ? Should I clean the drive out and reformat to xfs? After a reboot things have come back to normal and I’m currently moving the data to the array.

Cache drive read only
No I haven’t run any mem tests, the server has been running fine for months with no input from me for a while, it does its thing. I have rebooted the server and it all came back ok. The cache is working again. Currently moving everything to the array in case it drops again.

Cache drive read only
Hello, recently went to download some things and noticed it kept failing. looked into fix common problems and it said my cache drive for downloads is read only, probably full capacity is used. i checked and its only sitting at half the space used. I don't have any of my docker containers on here only new data which gets moved as the drive is nearing capacity. I have removed the cache as the primary storage to check if things still work with my main array and they do however when i add the cache back in the same thing happens. I don't want to unmount the cache yet before getting some advice from here first as best steps to take. The data on it isn't precious but id like to try and not lose anything if possible. I have attached my diagnostics any advice or pointers would be helpful. sith-diagnostics-20250729-1536.zip

Pre clear failing
Hello, i bought brand new 20 TB Seagate Exos x20 from Scan.co.uk today to expand into my existing array. I have added it into the server and started the process of pre clearing using the following settings: Enhanced 1.0.31, Clear disk with 1 cycle and not skipping anything else. it appears to be stuck on the very first step of reading the disk and then eventually fails with the following message at the end of the log: "preclear_disk_WVT0TM3T_1641801: error encountered, exiting ..." I have attached my server diags if it helps with any info or tips people can offer along with the logs for the failed pre clear. im hoping this isnt DOA Thanks sith-diagnostics-20250410-1735.zip preclear_disk_WVT0TM3T_1641801.txt

Mover starting and finishing at the same time
Having an issue with my cache drive filling up at the moment. i have it set to move when its 1st of the month in the early hours. i shut down all my docker containers just to ensure nothing was preventing the move and when i hit move and look at the log i see it starts and finishes at the exact same time, with no other info, it appears to think all is good. i do not have the mover tuning plugin anymore as i removed that when 7.0.0 released which im still on at the moment. does anyone have any support to resolve this ? Thanks edit: Additional info the cache is set to cache to the array the main array only has array all docker containers are off only log info i can find is: "Apr 4 17:02:52 Sith move: mover: started Apr 4 17:02:52 Sith move: mover: finished" Edit: added diagnostics sith-diagnostics-20250404-1716.zip
