@knex666 Being using this docker for a long time. Did a switch up from swag to traefik and I am going thru the config and hit a snag with ports. This based on the official nextcloud docker and ports is 80:8080. However when editing the template it says port 80 but in fact in the container is set to 446. Was this on purpose or did I magically set that somehow? because i cannot edit it to the default 80.

So I've been a long time user of unraid, when they implemented the SSL's i was cool with it and implemented it. I have a nic with 4 ports as i have different vlans that i use. The main port is on vlan 10 and i usually access my setup via ip. I used a different port for SSL and 8X8X for the http and for the longest time would reach my server using 192.xxx.xxx.xxx:8x8x. However due to my setup and strict policies I could not access my unraid from a different vlan. So recently I disconnected one ISP for another but there was a delay in getting that setup. I used a reverse proxy to get to my stuff but that didn't work. One day working on config files I got tired of switching my pc from one vlan to another in order to make changes. Out of pure chance i happened to https://192.XXX.XXX.XXX and i was greeted with the unraid login page from different vlan than 10. And like Christmas day opening gifts, i tried from other vlans and it worked! For years..years I had been using the http method never once tried the https I have been debating posting this as it's embarrassing but just had to share.

I've had similar problem but the mac in question is using wireless I thought that might be your issue.

Are you wired or wireless?

From what I have learned over the years is the array is really not meant to run SSD. There's some drawbacks. I can't recall any off them but spinning disk is better. I could be wrong Good score tho

just to clarify this needs a redis server? it does not install one?

when you got the test notify did you reply to it. You have to reply in order to activate it, crazy but it works.

Read thru some other post elsewhere and someone suggested increase the vram from the default to 512M this help the lagginess still get the message

My vm is really laggy and im getting a message. I am getting please update drivers on this vm otherwise it will run slow or something to that effect. I don't have a pass thru video card i use the QXL drivers that comes with QEMU. There something i can so to improve the lag.

Look at the logs of the nextcloud docker and see what its posting.

Use Syncthing or create a cron job using rsync

No it will not delete the dockers if you stop the vm/docker service. It would be easier to change it to host because all of them will have the same ip address just different ports. its whatever you feel more comfortable with. You may have to tweak settings to get all your dockers talking to each other.

It seems that your unraid is not set to static (ip never changes) but to Dynamic (it renews at some point). How did you setup your dockers? either Host or Bridge. if its host then you still have access to them at the new IP X.X.0.35:8080 or whatever the docker ports is. if you can post a screenshot of your dockers it would help folks try to help you.

what changed in your network to have a new server IP? also how were your dockers configured to get an ip?

This video was film on unraid version 6.3.5, some of this has been improved in the newer version of unraid. Still a good tutorial, just want to make sure that some one new does not feel overwhelmed because the webgui is slightly different.

I got the following error when I updated my instance. I restarted the docker. Can't start Nextcloud because the version of the data (22.2.3.0) is higher than the docker image version (22.2.2.0) and downgrading is not supported. Are you sure you have pulled the newest image version? Docker would not start so I force a docker updated and got one and after I applied it, the docker started.

I needed to post this for anyone. I moved to this docker from LSIO when sql lite borked and I had to restart over. Its been working fine. One thing that did not work correctly for me was the updater page. I would click on it and it would just take me back to the dashboard page. I would always have to upgrade manually and/or wait for docker to trigger the update. I honestly believe that this was the way this docker worked for a long time. Recently it notified me of the new version but I could not update my install because it thought it was on the latest version. Did some google fu and learn I was using a correct command but not the correct one to do the update. It did not work and thru digging I realize that the updater folder was missing from my config, downloaded the latest version put in in the correct place and BOOM! the web updater works now! Some many versions thinking this docker was broke and it turns out I just did not have the file for it to work correctly.

That's so great to see that he made such an impact that netgate hired him and I hope he got paid.

While this is true, i don't feel as safe letting my unraid box be a firewall. I rather let my pfSense box handle the incoming connections since that what's for. I rather wait until it moves from experimental to a fully support addon package. But its nice to see people like binhex who created dockers with privacy in mind give it a good review.

Spaceinvaderone has a youtube that detailed how to set it up using multiple containers NC, Onlyoffice Doc Server, and Onlyoffice app. Its and old video but the concept should apply to spinning a vm and using it,. I am thinking of doing that but the $149 for one time payment for only 10 users at home is not bad but I am the only one that uses it. So its pretty steep.

While this container does contain the Onlyoffice its broke. I posted this a few post before this. In NC 21.01 or something like that it stopped saving data to the files, in my case excel. If you search the web you will find post on the NC forum where a bug was submitted but it has not been fixed. Since this is the Community Edition (FREE) NC are not in a hurry to fix this. In the paid version it works just fine. I installed the collobora Code and it saves my files but its slow and some functions are missing but it works

Yes unmanic just converts, sonarr and radarr will keep looking for the best match until stop them from monitoring that specific show/movie. I think you can have both of those rescan your media and then it may stop but i am not sure.
