  6. Hi, i have got to the terminal commands posted above now trying this: systemctl restart lm_sensors.service displays command not found?
  7. Ok will try in a few days using a separate unraid usb in case i mess up.
  8. Do i have to be concerned about enabling this: acpi_enforce_resources=lax?
  9. yea good idea will give it a go sometime when i have time.
  10. Thanks JorgeB for your quick responce as always. Yes the comreset error never appears again after wake up.
  11. media-server-diagnostics-20241230-1552.zip
  12. I posted a few days ago on error logs appearing but was told to ignore. I have a few more now i suppose this is the same just thought i would check. ata2: COMRESET failed (errno=-16) the above appears three times and is after a restart/wake up from sleep kernel: xhci_hcd 0000:00:14.0: xHC error in resume, USBSTS 0x411, Reinit ERROR As before my server is working with no issues.
  13. Thanks for your help but will give this a miss too complicated, im a beginner and don't want to mess my server up just to see temp. The dynamix plugin does not work a driver appears but is the wrong one.
  14. Thank you for the above i am new to unraid, will try this later tonight. Do i just do the above or need to go through everything you detailed in post 1?
  15. HI, i have an asrock Z690 extreme and all i want is the temp, motherboard sensors to show up using the dynamix system temp. I am worried about the warnings above, the settings are the same in above example also, would i be ok?
  16. Hi, i am new to all this and just installed powertop. followed first post done all that is required, so am i correct in i am only getting C3 states? my motherboard is: Asrock Z690 Extreme with an i5 12600K.
  17. Happy Christmas. This is not an issue and does not effect my server in anyway, so just wondering about these warning messages in my logs: kernel: x86/split lock detection: #AC: crashing the kernel on kernel split_locks and warning on user-space split_locks kernel: ACPI: Early table checksum verification disabled Dec 27 14:56:39 floppy0: no floppy controllers found Dec 27 14:56:48 mcelog: failed to prefill DIMM database from DMI data
  18. i got an error displaying update failed so i tried to reboot would not, then tried shutdown after about 10mins shutdown. Now shows no update to rc2 Server seems to be working ok but top left displays on version RC1 with no update available. UPDATE: This is now solved i went to the update in tools, and completed successfully, first time an update did not go smoothly.
  19. Hi everyone a newbie here. I have an Asrock Z690 Extreme motherboard and 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-12600K not detecting my temp. i get available drivers as coretemp nct6775 motherboard, cpu not used - and can not load anything. having used google i got the following info: For the ASRock Z690 Extreme motherboard, you’ll need to configure the Dynamix System Temperature plugin to detect and display the motherboard temperature and fan speeds. Since the Z690 Extreme uses the W83795ADG-I2C sensor, you’ll need to specify the correct chip and settings in the plugin configuration. In the Dynamix System Temperature plugin settings, add the following lines to the sensors.conf file: chip "w83795adg-i2c-0-2e" ignore "fan4" label "temp1" "CPU Temp" label "temp6" "MB Temp" label "fan1" "Array Fan" label "fan2" "Array Fan" label "fan3" "Array Fan" label "fan5" "Array Fan" Save the changes and reload the plugin. Having looked into the config but i have no sensors.conf not sure what to do
  20. Thank you learn something everyday, i changed it to auto, now is working and created the media folder on disk 2
  21. media then inside movies,Tv shows folders
  22. So i am transferring data from a synology to unraid and all is well except: I have 2x20tb HD (Data) no parity been used will start after transfer. Min disk space set at 100GB, disk 1,2 checked. disk 1 only 54gb free space i can now not transfer anything without an error seems not transfering over to disk 2 which is empty. The file/movie is over 90GB so am i correct it should move to disk 2 tried using the built in browser mover and also krusader same issue. media-server-diagnostics-20241209-1305.zip
