  1. The Plugin/Docker seems to b be working, but the labels on the disks in my display are transparent/invisible. If I hover over them, they show up, but I cannot figure out how to make them display naturally. I have the latest plug-in update from this week.
  2. I am pretty sure a setting in the SABnzb docker erases my MOVIES folder from my UNRAID shares. That solves the question for me.
  3. Hi trurl, It is analogous to /user/downloads/tv_shows, which is where my TV shows are used by Plex. It is working fine. Is userr/movies a valid path?
  4. I was working on the SMB movie share, and it just disappeared! What's more, I cannot find any movies on the disks in my array. About 250 movies gone! Plus Disk1 and 2 are now significantly smaller. I think the data was wiped out. When I go into Plex, it shows posters for the 250 movies, but of course, none will play. I reconstituted the move shae /luser/downloads/movie and then downloaded a movie. That share disappeared! I really only have about 10 movies that I want to download but at this point I cannot put them into the movie share that keeps disappearing. I rebotted several times. If someone could tell what the hell happened and how I can reestablish and buiild on the movies share, it would be most appreciated. PS: tv_shows share is working fine Diagnostic attached. megaplex-diagnostics-20260126-1835.zip
  5. I had a similar issue, but delecting all my tailscale machines fixed it. Suggest checking out ipconfig and see what your pc is using for an ip address.
  6. The GUI(s) are back! All I needed to do was to delete all the Tailscale machines on my Tailnet. Working to fix this, I thought I would fire up my first Unraid server, which had been down for at least a month. It gave the same result (no connection) with the same message about the network. I thought the problem was Windows. I ran an ipconfig in the Command Prompt, and it showed the PC's Tailnet IP address first. I deleted everything in my tailnet, rebooted, and the old server GUI came up! Tried my new unraid server and its GUI came up! Talilscale has bitten me in the ass before, so I am definitely off it. "Fool me twice, shame on me." I am a simple guy who wants tools that will not screw up my system. I am sure Tailscle on my system could be fixed by someone who knows a lot more than me but I am old and in need of a simple system that just works at least locally. Maybe I will try Tailscale again someday, but something has to change - either the product or my understanding of how to use it- so that it won't break my setup. You can mark this as solved.
  7. trurl, Problem with current setup is that I have no GUI. No sure moving the config folder from my backup to the current set up would cure that.
  8. JorgeB, I did as you advised I edited the file, put the USB back in, and booted into Safe Mode. Then I restarted windows. The gui came up and allowed me to go into a few tabs but when I tried to go into docker tab it crashed. I got a message from windows: A network change was detected. Diagnostics attached. Could you please answer a question I asked before? I have a backup usb zip for 7.3.2 that was done a few days before my screw up. Wouldn't it just be straightforward to do the automatic or manual replace usb procedure for this file with a new usb? P.S.: Shutting down the server in CLI using the command shutdown now has not worked. It looks like its going down gracefully, stopping services like nginx, but then says; Going to single user mode and then presents the login prompt. I did a hard shutdown. megaplex-diagnostics-20260120-1553.zip
  9. I have a 7.2.3 backup zip on my Windows PC. Can I put that on another USB and boot from it?
  10. Wow, how clever. I willl remember that tip. Shutdown command did not work even after 15 minutes of frying all the switches, including the manditory t, which I set to 120 sec. I did an ungraceful hard stop. Diag files attached. megaplex-diagnostics-20260119-1143.zip
  11. JorgeB, I have been working on this since I got your note. I am such a rookie it is very slow going; however, I really appreciate your guidance. Sorry to be so dense; I got the diagnosics zip to be created but how do I get it to you? It is in the /boot/log folder but how do I access it and get it to you. I cannot ping my unraid server from windows so ssh or scp will not work.
  12. I did a number of dumb moves and need some help. I have a Plex ecosystem that was working great then I HAD to play around with SAB to get it to work with Bazarr. Then SAB disappeared as a Docker. I thought, if I went back to 6.12.15 from 7.2.4 if would fix it. Of course, it did not. The GUI comes up in 6.12.15 but if I click on any other tab it dies. I do not see anyway to upgrade back to 7.2.4. Could one of you good people please tell me : How to get my GUI back and stable, How to upgrade back to 7.2.4 (I have a backup zip) How to possibly get my SabNZB back, maybe even to an earlier version. I cannot even get you a diagnostics file yet. I love this server but I clearly do not understand what I am doing.
  13. I am relatively new to UNRAID and I have been putting off an upgrade for months. I keep reading about problems and seeing multiple plugin upgrades during the period from the end of 6.12 into the era of Unriad 7. Troubleshooting is traumatic for me and usually involves the efforts of gurus like Jorge B. I honestly hate to use their valuable time, but if my system is down, I am mildly paniced. UNRAID 6.12 was bulletproof but I keep reading about the next features, and did not want the gap to get too large. I waited til the plugin updates calmed down and 7.2 added a number. I figured out how to back up and restore an older version using usb zip backup and dove in. From what I can tell EVERYTHING is still working great. I truly love UNRAID and the organization. During the update I read all the screens on my GUI and on my server monitor and I get a great appreciation of ALL the WORK that went into making this update successful. What a wonderful organization My license is worth every cent.
  14. So far (knock on wood) Unraid 6.12.15 has been rock solid with dockers: Deluge, Radarr, Sonarr, Plex, Sabmzbd. Someday I will put up a Win 11 and Linux VM.
  15. I am an old man who loves computers, but I do not think as well as I used to. Also I am new to UNRAiD. I am running a 7 disk array in an old tower with about 40TB, a complete Plex ecosystem with arrs and Deluge for books and a Win 11 VM. I could not do it without the help of my friends like JorgeB and Turl. JorgeB is an outstanding resource who has helped me a lot. He is, however, at least 5 time zones away from the US and I am sure has a real life as well. I am just so happy he is available. and willing to help. He has gotten this old man's UNRAID server up, stable and humming error-free free and I very much appreciate hin. From my perspective, he reads a diag file better than anyone I know.
  16. Could the error come when the drives are going from down to spinning up during the parity check? I had some instability in my array, and the big brains on this forum suggested a SATA or power cable problem. I think I had too many disks on a single PSU line. I added another line and kept the disks going 24/7 - the array has been solid for months through a number of parity checks.
  17. Not sure if this is an issue for you but I found my system had an overloaded SATA power cable. I think I had 4 or 5 drives on one cable and the system was unstable. When I put another power cable into the PSU to share the load, everything got better. The other thing I did was to keep the drives spinning 24/7. I have read conflicting accounts as to whether that lowers the life of the drive; however, the array has been rock solid since I made these two changes. I am beginning the suspect that a lot of the cable problems are not SATA connectors but power connectors on overburdened PSU cables.
  18. Dear trurl, many thanks! I thought it might be simple but I could not figure it out. At my advanced age I get by with a little help from my friends like you. I am very grateful. Some forums are not as kind with what they consider silly questions. Another thing I have not figured out is how to see my servers when I am on the road. I am in Boston but will fix it per your instructions when I am home on Tuesday. Thanks again, this is a great community!!
  19. I have worked on this for a few days with no joy. I have done a lot of searching online but a solution has eluded me. Everyday for the past 6 days a new share appears. It usually has an error message saying that it references a storage (Cache) that does not exist. Indeed, I have a number of cache drives and none are named Cache. In the share made today, the new share is "ab_20250402_000001". In settings for this share it says the primary storage is Array and there is no secondary storage. It does NOT say Cache anywhere in the settings. I looked over all my docker settings to see if they point to a high level folder like /mnt/user but I do not see any. As far as I can tell, every one of the new shares contain the same files: backup.log, tar files for my dockers, XML files for my dockers and a vm-meta.tgz. I do not have any VMs installed. I might be able to delete these but I am pretty sure they will just keep coming. The attached screenshot shows what has been happening with my shares. Also attached is diagnostics. Any help would be greatly appreciated... megaplex-diagnostics-20250402-1207.zip
  20. 4TB = 4000 GB = 4000000 MB. At 50 MB/s = 22.2 hours
  21. I had a similar issue with the usual (and good) advice of "check power and sata cables". I had 5 disks on one lead from the PSU. I added another PSU lead and shared the 5 as 3 and 2 disks. I also KEPT the DISKS SPINNING. No spindown and the array has been stable for about 3 weeks now.
  22. The common theme of you three experts is a suspect sata power line with too many splits. Well, it turns out my 7-driver array has 5 drives sharing a single PSU cable with 5 connectors (1 x 5). I took drive 2 out and replaced it with another 2TB RED WD NAS. I also dug out another modular sata cable for the Corsair RM850x PS, attached it to the PS, and replaced the power connections of Drive2 and 5. I precleared the drive and built it back into the array with the same sata data cable. The array came back without errors. I am guessing that you are all geniuses and this was the reason for my recurring problem; however, I will wait for a few parity checks and a few months before declaring this one SOLVED. Many thanks for your wonderful help.
  23. Thank you. Thank you. I will try this before rebuilding.
