[Plugin] DVB-Driver
Thanks @wayner. I had 2 of the older HD Homeruns that eventually stopped working. I wish I knew at the time that the adapters die before the units. This Hauppauge tuner was just laying around, so I wanted to try Plex DVR out before I bought another HD Homerun. Things turned out to be a little more complex than I thought they would be. Now I have to decide whether to get the 4k Flex with it's DRM problems or the Quatro tuner which may only be useful for a few more years.

[Plugin] DVB-Driver
Thanks for your help @ich777. I eventually was able to get that tuner working with Plex through TV Headend and Xteve. Hauppauge has the tuner listed as working with Plex. https://www.hauppauge.com/pages/products/data_plex.html

[Plugin] DVB-Driver
Hello @ich777, I need some help with my plex TV tuner setup and my Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-955Q. I have installed the DVB drivers and rebooted. It appears that Unraid sees the TV tuner and it works fine in TVheadend. I have tried everything including putting the extra parameters command in the Plex docker and the modprobe cx23885 command. Plex and Jellyfin do not see the tuner but Unraid and TVheadend do. Any ideas?

How to move external USB and ESATA enclosure disks to internal motherboard or HBA/SAS SATA connectors
I was able to connect the external USB and E-SATA drives to the internal SATA connections by doing a new config and matching the drives up to their correct slots. I did try one drive first and I mounted it through unassigned devices first to see if it would work. The only warning about this success story is that my drives were in Mediasonic Proboxes so YMMV.

How to move external USB and ESATA enclosure disks to internal motherboard or HBA/SAS SATA connectors
I am a newbie to Unraid. I tried looking this up on the Unraid forums and on Reddit but couldn't find a definitive answer. I am transferring all of my data to a new Unraid server which was in 4 drive external USB or SATA cases. I learned that it is unwise to do this since it will decrease the speed of transfers and parity checks. There are also problems with SMART information and the reliability of the connections. When I tried to connect some of the drives to motherboard SATA ports they were identified as different drives by Unraid. I read this is due to the ESATA or USB board in the enclosure telling Unraid they are different drives. Is getting this to work as simple as using new config? I will need to select the correct drive for parity and place the data drives in their correct disk slots. After that the parity will be rewritten. The data disks should retain their information and I will not lose any data. Is all of this correct? Help would be greatly appreciated.
