thank you very much. Just to understand what is happening in the backround: If I would have a pairty 1 and a parity 2. Is it possible to remove parity disk 1 and put parity disk 2 into the parity 1 position. Would this cause any error or lead to an unprotected parity? Do any parity rebuilds or so be the result of this?

In my case the webGUI just froze, certain operations were not possible. The underlying process was still running and the information just got refreshed after this procedure. So, just because it might look like its stuck, you should double check, because it might just be the webGUI thats causing issues.

I have a slightly different problem: I just added a bigger parity 2 drive and want do remove the parity 1 drive aferwards. My setup loks like this: parity 1 : 4tb parity 2: 6tb disk 1 : 3tb disk 2 : 3tb disk 3 : 1tb Here is what I would like to do: 1. remove parity 1 2. stop + start array 3. stop array + switch make party 2 to parity + start array again 4. afterward I would like to put the 4tb drive on disk 1 position and move all disks in the array one postion down. --> Herefore I do not know how to proceed. Why I want to do this? - because the is the best way for me to spread data across the array using relative methodes on the different shares like "high-water" (for larger files like movies) "filling-up" (like system/unraid files, the have mteh alls on the same drive) - there is no need to use set up operations that will send the data to preselected disks. Did you do something simelar, I am looking forward hearing from you.

ONE POSSIBLE SOLUTION. I had the same problem. My webGUI wasnt showing any progress. I was bulding a second parity + preclearing two new unassigned devices, which you know takes quite a while with high TB drives. Apparently I use the "Dynamix System Statistics" Plugin and could see that there was a lot going on my storage read/write-wise eventhough the MainGui didnt show any activity. I tested pausing the "parity sync" process and logging out of webGUI. What happend is that the parity sync continued and everthing worked normaly. I rebooted after all was done. This might also work with the parity check.

Danke für die schnelle Rückmeldung, eure Erfahrungswerte bringen mich deutlich weiter. Plugins und ähnliches sind natürlich unter Unraid immer eine schnelle und einfache Möglichkeit neue Funktionalitäten mit aufzunehmen, insofern diese auch so arbieten wie man sich das vorstellt. Bisher habe ich nur mit Server Betriebssystemen in Reinform gearbeiten, wo insbesondere unter Linux vieles mühsam händisch eingerichtet werden musste, da ging es mehr darum das alles stabil läuft. Ein ganzes System umzuwälzen, ist neu für mich - daher vermutlich die Zurückhaltung. Also ich werde es neu aufsetzen und nur die Basics reimportieren: 1. Sicherung vom Flash Drive 2. Über Settings/NewConfig das gesamte System auf ursprünglich zrücksetzen oder Stick einfach neu aufspielen (sicher ist sicher) 3. Configs, SSH-Schlüssel, ggf. Key usw. reimportieren Ich bin mal gespannt, ob keine Probleme auftreten, ansonsten kann ja schnell die Flash wiederherstellt werden. Das aufwändigste ist dabei vermutlich, falls nötig den USB-Stick aus dem Serverrack abzustöpseln - Unraid sei Dank.

Hallo Zusammen, ich habe ein ähnliches Problem ebendalls mit: axelrc.new diese scheint zu fehlen, soweit geben dies die Zeilen während des Bootings wieder, welcher dadurch auch nicht unwesentlich verlangsamt wird. Soweit ich dies zurückführen kann, sind dies Packages, welche auch mit dem 'Nerd-Pack' installiert wurden. Ich vermute bei mir, dass hier irgendwann mal was schiefgegangen ist bzw. bei einem Update irdendetwas nicht übernommen wurde. Allgemein stehe ich jetzt vor dem Problem, dass ich keinen Überblick habe, was in meinem aktuellen Unraid funktioniert/nicht funktioniert (Hinweis: mit der Zeit hatte ich einige Plugings, Apps und Docker ausprobliert, teilweise verwendet und wieder über den Community ) 1. Habt ihr dazu schon eine Lösung gefunden? 2. Ich habe überlegt, den den Flash Drive mit einer Cleanen Unraid-Version zu bespielen und nur wesenltiche config Dateien + Key aus dem Backup wiederherzustellen. 2.1 Habt ihr schon mal soetwas gemacht? 2.2 Ist das überhaupt sinnvoll oder sollte man anders vorgehen?
