I wonder if that EEE is why my Ethernet Adapter disconnects my server after a time when I have the driver installed.

Okay, now is my time to shine! So, here is what I did to 'fix' this. I don't know that its fully working, as its meant too, however, I haven't 'crashed' or dropped connection too the server (I was in the same boat, unable to connect, server essentially dead in the water). Now I'm pulling most of this from very vague memory, as I've had a lot going on, and, I really just sort of winged it when I did it and didn't make a mental, or any physical, notes as to the steps I did. I'm on 7 beta 2, so, you know, a bit different, however, because the updates to the plug in weren't happening, I checked the github page manually, myself. I then remember downloading the plug in from the git, the most recent version of it, for my adapter (I'm using the USB version of the 2.5gbps nic) and put it in the plugins section of my unraid USB. Now.... I can't remember much after that, if there was a step I had to do, or if it just picked it up, but.... its been working ever since, no drop outs, nothing. Now I know this isn't thorough or definitive, but there might be enough in here for you to pair with something else to help you pinpoint the exact fix. I really do hope this helps. Best of luck. PS I should also add, this will make it so that it doesn't show up in your plugins. But it DOES work. So I suppose you more or less won't be able to update using the update plugin option (but, for me, it wasn't updating to a version that was helping my NIC anyways - hence doing it manually)

Same thing is happening to me. Tried updating to Steam Family Beta, and now Steam won't even load lol.

Yeah, there might be something up with the Realtek r8152 NIC Driver on Unraid 7 beta 2's kernel. I suppose I'll wait and see. Thank you again both of you, for getting back to me on this. Its very much appreciated.

I'm on unraid 7 beta 2, and I'm having a similar issue to what other sare describing. Not AS slow, but much slower than it (has been and) should be. Before it'd be much closer to 2500 on the download. The upload is fine. But a month or so ago, maybe two if memory serves, it was hitting near 2500 on the D/L every time. Wanted to add, I had a hunch, and check on the dashboard, and, even before much of ANYTHING is going on, theres constant drops happening. Even more so when Docker is running. And sure enough, its on the receive end as well, which matches the speed test above. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out whats going on :(.

Hmm... makes me wonder if its the Realtek 2.5Gbps USB NIC I'm using... it always seems to choke when theres a lot hitting the 'net'. Like I'll lose the ability to connect, but the hard drives will still show activity.

Just dropping this here while I remember: I ran the unraid live memory test, and everything came out fine. But, still, on a hunch, thought I'd run Memtest, and everything turned out well/passed. I'm still waiting for the server to S.T.B., and I've got the Syslog server set; I'll post as soon as I have the results from that. Okay, awesome, I've got that done. I'll get back to you fine folks when it crashes again. Its intermittent, but the way that it crashes is consistent.

So this has been happening since I moved to Unraid 7 beta, and switched to ZFS. I thought by switching the Docker back to a cache drive, as that was having problems in the notes, it would fix it... but... it hasn't. I haven't been able to catch it when it had just happened recently enough to get a good diagnostics zip from it, but I finally have it! So my net/router just took a hard dump on itself, after my ISP switched my internet plan (which I did ask them to do, in their defense). But Unraid's Cloudflare DDNS keeps reporting an IP I had 5 hours ago, to Cloudflare so all of my proxied containers are unaccessable. How can I force an IP in Cloudflare DDNS to get pushed to Cloudflare's DNS? I went in, and manually changed the IP, but then it says, reserved IP... and it doesn't work. I could really use some help. I've got people breathing down my neck "I can't access the jellyfin, my life is over" and its... kind of annoying tbh lol. The .10.47 is my router's IP address, currently, from my ISP... the 75.159 one is from... well... like... ya about 4 hours ago (thats how long I've been trying to fix this)

Hey folks, I'm not sure if I should set the Docker Plugin to use the Pool, or the User, to set the directory to the shares. I'm thinking the name of the Pool (in my case zima) but, I'm wondering if either one will have permission issues and which is preferred/standard?

Hey there, can't seem to add the root folder in Kapowarr in Media Management > Root Folder. I've tried /data/media/comics and every variation of that I could think of... not sure what I am and am not doing here. Edit: Added content... that seemed to work. I'm guessing thats it?

Weird. This is actually what fixed it for me, was just stepping down to Production Branch. But I'm on 6.12.6... don't know why you're not updated, but I don't think theres any harm in updating your Unraid. It'll probably show up then.

I slapped together this HP Z440, it looks fine when you put it on the main screen (though up close you can see some minor imperfections/misalignments).

This worked for me on my Tesla P4. It was stuck at 1% being used by nothing, and kept idling at 24W, 800MHz GPU, 2000MHz Mem. This fixed it!

I did make a help request post, and... basically redid the container after deleting the folder, and letting the docker redo the permissions. It wasn't TOO much trouble. I do have another question though... if you don't mind, in the logs, it was saying that the TRANS_DIR wasn't configured, so it was defaulting to something else (I don't have it running right now so can't check) but, if I set the /transcode to dev/shm in the docker configuration, and then set /transcode inside plex's settings, that should still use the RAM (like up to half your RAM type of deal)? Also, totally found out the hardway that the audio is transcoded by the CPU. My poor Synology DS218+ was not a fan. So much so I built an Unraid box for it with a Xeon CPU E5-2699 v3, and its generally been okay. The videos on TrueHD 7.1 just wouldn't even load, or infinitely buffer. But English AC-3 5.1 was no problem at all. *SOLVED* So yep, deleting the folder, and rebuilding it using the docker container worked! 7.1 is doing its thing, even in transcoding. AND the /transcode + /dev/shm does indeed use the RAM just fine :D. Its all back to normal! Whewf!
