  2. yes, i have plex pass.

you know another weird thing is I have my main computer that i just booted up with a plus licence (i have a pro and plus licence).   I did the exact same steps and plex works on this computer.  I noticed the docker icon looks a little different, not sure if that is a hint or anything.   see how this one just says plex but the non working one says container ID and by linuxserver?

  3. ya, sorry man, my mistake, and I was on my phone.   I downloaded it via the apps.  It is installed but I wasn't sure what I should pick for the containers, etc.  It just keeps saying looking for servers.  Since it is supposed to be the server, i thought i downloaded plex instead of plex server.

I have been trying for days to get this working to no avail.    Searching, reading, just can't get it done.  This was one of the reasons I moved to Windows from Unraid a couple years ago, it's just easier.

I just bought an nice SATA controller card and was just going to buy all new hardware but not if I can't get everything working.

Any help would be so much appreciated..

  4. Hey guys, going to start dumping all my movies and stuff on to my array.  Quick question about setting up the user shares.   I have multiple hard drives that i need to copy and they are set up like this:

    HD Movies

    Bluray Movies

    3d Bluray Movies

    4k Movies

Should i just create one user share called media and drop all the directories in there?  or should i create a HD Movies share, a Bluray Movies share, etc?

Also, when i copy the files, i paste them right into the user shares right?

if anyone can help, would really like to start moving files :)
