  1. I have a intellipower UPS (IHT1500RM-DI-Isol-FC-399) connected to my network I'm trying to connect to my server. I can't seem to figure out how to point NUT to the UPS's IP 10.10.111.112.
  2. So I was able to connect to it but.... not anymore. I figured out that device needs to be the IP but then all it populated was "0" and calculating for a while. I tried different settings but now I don't remember what I used to get working.
  3. I was looking at the cable that APC UPS uses and noticed that the Ethernet end is not a rj45, it's a rj50 (10 pin). I looked at the UPS that I'm trying to use and it a rj45 (8 pin). I guess that explains why the APC cable doesn't work with Intellipower UPS.
  4. I managed to setup a separate network in order to connect to the UPS management port. I set it to use DHCP so now the UPS is connected to my network with it's own IP. I see I can set the communication type but I don't see any option to connect to the UPS via an IP address. I'm beginning to think the usb to Ethernet adapter is not going to work.
  5. Currently I have an APC UPS (non-rackable) to provide backup power in case of a power outage. I've been looking for a rackable UPS and I was recently able to secure a get a Intellipower IHT1500RM-DI-Isol-FC-399 rackable UPS. The issue is I am unable to get the built in UPS monitor to communicate with it. When I plug in the ethernet to usb cable to the port, the activity light on the UPS does not light up. If I plug the it into to my network with a patch cable, it populates in my network devices list but with a 192.168.... IP. My DHCP gives out 10.10..... IP's. The port on the UPS has a label that says NetAgent Mini. I tried NUT plug in but it seams that it is unsupported. Am I out of luck or is that any other suggestions you guys can give me?
  6. Wow…. I guess that makes sense but I spent too much time pondering it. LOL I ended up get my mail server up and running but I gave up on mailcow and going with iRedMail. TonyTeachesTech has a great “how to”. I learned a lot in the process. That being said, I have residential ISP connection and with everything setup and running, I don’t know what to expect going forward. I’m assuming as some point my ISP will give me a new IP and everything will stop working. At that point, will I just have to go back into my DNS records and update all the IP addresses? Is is possible to use something like duckDNS or Cloudflare DDNS to keep everything updated?
  7. Yes but I don’t know how to route incoming traffic on port 25 to my mail server in pfSense. All the services I host are done through Cloudflare tunnels. I don’t think I can host an email server though a tunnel?
  8. I set up a mailcow mail server and while I can send mail (and the recipient actually receives it), I am unable to receive mail. I was hesitant to attempt hosting my own email server due to all the negativity surrounding it. It was relatively easy to get to this point but I don’t understand how to solve this issue. I attached a screenshot of my dns records if anyone sees a problem let me know. Also I see online people list dns records and I don’t understand what “IN” is?
  9. Ok, so far I can send mail to a couple email providers (Google and Disroot) but I am still trying to receive mail. I think the issue is my pfSense firewall. I'm sure I have to make a rule or something to route traffic to the correct IP?
  10. Yes, I’m looking for someone to assist me. I’ll check out mailcow. Is there good info on dns records?
  11. I understand this but I still want to try it. If it doesn’t work out, it doesn’t work out. I want to try it and see what happens.
  12. I host my web services ie. nextcloud, photorism ect But I have yet to host my own email. I can only find limited information on it and I have been wanting to since I built my first Unraid server. Does anyone know of a suitable app to do this along with enough information available to setup and complete?
  13. After making the changes I mentioned above, I’m still getting the same log messages/errors.
  14. This makes sense. I checked disk settings and spin down is set to never but my zfs pool was set to 3 hours. I changed it to default (never) so I will monitor the log for hopefully a lack of the same type of entries.
  15. When I click the logs button in the upper right corner this is what I see. I think this is an issue although everything seems to be running fine. I believe this started right after I started after I switched from an Intel based system to the current Epyc system. tower-diagnostics-20231008-2023.zip
