    thank you for your reply , I've managed to shrink the data to 4tb now - would degrading the array and using a drive to temporarily store the data while migrating the other drives not work ? if so how could i do that on synology

    Hi, loving Unraid I will be creating my first build currently have a Synology ds920+ which is filled with 4 6tb hdd’s running raid 5. Total storage I have is 12tb data I’ve managed to transfer some of it to an external hard drive but have 7.48tb important files left over How is this possible please Thank You
