Disable USB network adapter on boot?
Could it be that it does not show when not booted with 2 nics? I can not get access when usb nic are connect as described above. I can only add the usb nic after it boots. Is not the interface rules only created when it detect more than one nic at boot? It there way to force the interface rules always when there is even one nic?

Disable USB network adapter on boot?
It is listing the MAC's....I just block out the MAC addresses. The problem is that if I boot with the USB Ethernet adapter with cable connected to main LAN, it will ping 192.168.10.175, but the web interface will no longer work, and SSH will be unavailable. Additionally, the main Ethernet adapter will not receive an IP address from my DHCP server. This locks me out because the graphic adapter is dedicated to a Windows VM, so once fully booted, it will not be used for the console. The only solution is to remove all USB Ethernet adapters and reboot. The USB adapters are connected via a USB hub that is normally passed to the Windows VM when fully booted. The USB adapters are not always connected. They are used for IT work on other devices using a different LAN's.

Disable USB network adapter on boot?
I do not see in the setting a way to set the rules that will force a Adapter/Mac to use eth0. Below is my network settings with one USB adapter connected after boot. If I boot with USB network adapter connected but no cable it will not ping 192.168.10.175 which is the MB ethernet adapter always connected.

Disable USB network adapter on boot?
I use USB network adapters for Docker and VMs. I found out today that if I leave one connected without an Ethernet cable, Unraid will switch and make it the main network adapter. It took a good day to figure out why Unraid would have status lights on the main adapter but would not connect to the main IP address. Is there any way to block all USB adapters from being used for Unraid at boot?

[Plugin] USB_Manager
Thanks again for the updates......Small request if possible. Everything works if the VM is in stop state but does not work if the VM is paused. Paused state is used when VM sleeps or hibernates. Other than that everything works correctly.

Thanks it works perfect and as intended. Thanks for the great plugin and adding the additional feature.

Again no rush......I tried renaming the VM to "Windows_11" and remapping the dongle and sitll does not start. It might be that the device is casecaded with multiple USB hubs? Let me know if there anything else needed for testing. BR Here is my setup Unraid Server -> Active USB cable -> Powered USB Hub -> Powered KVM with switched USB HUB -> Logitech Keyboard/Mouse Dongle

Ok thanks. No rush. I have my Unraid server 20m away in basement but I have my work laptop to start the VM. Most say to leave the VM running but I notice there is 40w less draw when it is sleeping. The goal is to start the VM remotely by just switching the KVM. In case others want a simular setup below is the hardware I'm using. Addional hub is not required but I use it be able to mount external storage without KVM on the Unriad port. Yes I did.....see below. The KVM switches in a USB hub that the dongle is connected. Switching KVM port, It works perfect when the VM is on. When VM is off it does not start the VM.

Thanks you work fast. I tried it but does not seem to start the VM. Is at the start of the Plugin or when the USB device is plugged in and discovered?

Love the plug, and it works great. Is there a way to run a script when it detects a device? I have a KVM that has a USB hub that passes a USB keyboard/mouse dongle. I would like it to start a VM if it is not already running. Is it possible to add the option in the plugin to start the VM when a USB device is detected?
