  1. Hello. in 2023 i started using unraid for a small home project that includes a streaming gaming "server" from a windows vm. Your suggestion for iothread saved my pc. I just wanted to thank you. Have a wonderful life

  3. Hello I need help identifying random hang ups involving Unraid 6.12.4 PC was running on in i3 platform, and after a cpu cooler change there were some problems starting pc, followed by a normal boot. Unraid booted and all was good, but had random hangs that needed reset followed by a parity check. If parity check paused and system normally rebooted, parity was not triggered anymore. Memtest from a different usb stick (cannot boot in the included one) had no errors after 6 hrs so i stopped the test. I changed the platform, switched the mobo and cpu to 1700 with b450 chipset (more cores, vms...). Had hangs again, ram and psu being the same as old configuration. I did some digging and detected some trace irq involving net... something (sorry). I switched from mcvalan to ipvlan, same. I enabled syslog server and logs on stick to see that happens, and put up a monitor to see the messages on screen. On the monitor this morning there was a kernel panic, involving same trace irq.
