Can't connect via switch
So, I connect my Unraid server to my Windows PC by means of an ethernet cable from the server into a Google mesh wifi unit. This is rather slow. When I move the cable to my TP-Link TLSG105 switch instead of the mesh unit, I loose connection to the server. How can I fix this?

How does one turn off info popups?
Oh boy, I feel so stupid... Thank you!

How does one turn off info popups?
I've spent a considerable amount of time today trying to turn off these info popups (that I no doubt have turned on myself...). I liked it much better when I needed to actively click the header to see the text. What am I missing?

Lock error / Error 5
So I’m planning my Unraid install, have ordered several drives today. While waiting I’m trying to prepare the USB stick, but The USB Flash Creator repeatedly reports “Lock error” after running the downloaded exe-file. I have tried several USB sticks, (Kingston and Sandisk), and chosen different install versions, but the USB install always ends with the “Lock error” message. Plus my Win11 machine always locks up and has to be hard reset. I also have an old Win10 laptop, and tried to run the exe-file there. Exactly the same thing happened. (The enclosed pic was stolen from someone here with the same problem 3 years ago, hence the older Unraid version. At that time the workaround was to do it manually. This is no longer an option since the downloaded file now is an exe file) How can I fix this? I’m about to give up…

Parity drive usage
- Parity drive usage
I am preparing my Unraid build, to replace my ancient Windows Home Server. My (newbie) question concerns the parity drive. If I future-proof the build and buy a LA-A-RGE parity drive, to combine with my much smaller older drives, will the excess space on the parity drive be available to include in the array, or can the parity drive only be used exclusively for parity data? - Parity drive usage
